A love letter to my favorite purchase of 2024
The year isn't even half over but I'm calling it: my flexispot bamboo desk is the BEST thing I'm going to buy all year. I went back and forth on what standing desk to get for two years, and this was the cheapest one on my shortlist by far -- next model up was $300 more, and the other two were $700 and $1200 more respectively. Happy to report I didn't waste my money on that. Pros: Wasn't too hard to put together. Height options are good for short people - most standing desks don't go low enough for me to sit ergonomically, and yet I'm the average height of women in the USA at 5'3.5". Always works exactly as expected, quiet enough to adjust during a zoom meeting, no wobble (even with 150lb on top, at the tallest setting). The motion is smooth enough not to spook my skittish cat who sleeps on one side. The controls/display are similar to high-end models (Uplift makes you pay extra for a display like this one). The price is also incredible - I needed a big desk for my monitors and didn't want cheap laminate since my old Ikea desk chipped and scratched so easy. The bamboo on this is TOUGH, no scratches yet despite the aforementioned cat's best efforts. Fits my laptop and three monitors with 10" to spare on either side. Just deep enough so my keyboard doesn't feel squished to the edge of the desk. As a bonus, the frame can easily be used with other desktops, so if I ever want a fancier version one day, I can rip off the bamboo top and replace it with butcher block. Perfect starter model for a standing desk. Cons: this is all very nitpicky, but I would have preferred a darker stain option for the desktop. If they make more in the future I might give this to my partner and buy another. I also would have liked four presets instead of three (sitting height and standing height for two people). Finally, I wish all the holes were predrilled. Most are, but I had to do a few myself. Doable without a drill but it wasn't easy with my scrawny lady noodle arms. Finally, I wish they offered this exact model in an L shape because even the biggest model wasn't quite big enough (I want a space for writing by hand plus a printer). The L shape models available at time of purchase had laminate tops instead of bamboo, and weren't deep enough to fit my monitors/keyboard/wrist support cushion.

Slightly wobbly, otherwise well built
The desk has a slight back and forth wobble that originates from the expanding part of the legs. Fortunately, it's not terrible, but it's noticeable when typing and enough to make me regret my purchase. The wobble still persists even after re-tightening all the screws. If it weren't for the fact that it's a huge pain to disassemble and return, I would've done it.

Large sit / stand desk holding up well for a sizeable computer setup.
I've had my Flexispot desk for around a year now, and continue to feel like my purchase was justifiable. My 48" primary monitor, a 27" secondary monitor, my mid-tower PC, external drives, and some networking equipment all live on this thing with space to spare for snacks by my keyboard, and it's held up well. I just finished moving it over 200 miles, and it's still working fine (despite the control panel taking a good bonk or two). Though I don't use the sit / stand feature every day, it's worked adequately when I have felt the need to raise or lower it. The motors clearly have to do more work when lifting the 25 to 50 kg worth of equipment then when lowering, but that was to be expected. So far, the bamboo top has held up well to drinks, hot dishes from the microwave, and the occasional spilling of foodstuff. I do have a few minor gripes. The metal "support" bar joining the two legs together was barely long enough to meet the first screw-down hole on each side. The inclusion of better cable management for the "undercarriage" wiring would have been welcomed, with a few easily dangling unless additional cable management stick-ons are purchased. Though technically it can be assembled by hand like I did, you'll really want some power tools since it takes a lot of effort to attach the wooden desk to the metal legs by hand. Overall, happy with the purchase and would recommend to others looking to rock two large (over 40") monitors or triple 27" setup.

Top notch stand up desk
I was able to set up the base by myself then needed help flipping over the desk. Everything was pretty straightforward. I did get the 78 inch version which the brackets in the middle need to be just right when locking everything down. Instructions were decent (3/5) but if you stare long enough you'll figure it out. When it goes up; sometimes it goes in stages... where the desk will pause for about 3 microseconds then continue - i believe its just getting to the next telescoping level. Setting up the levels is straightforward. Very happy with how massive this desk is and the look of it - big fan! Biggest standing desk I was able to find that is not an L shape. Would highly recommend.

Building it was more frustrating than IKEA furniture
Desk is functioning awesome and it is massive which I wanted. The base doesn't say it fits the 78x30 desktop in the directions and it did not align with the pre drilled screw holes. Called customer service they assured me that is normal and I just had to make my own holes for the screws. A lot easier said than done, took two drill batteries to finish assembly.

Best Desk I've Owned
I got the massive '6.5 long bamboo top and could not be happier. Very sturdy even at max height with heavy weight. Motors are quiet and responsive. Build quality is top notch. The desktop shipped separately and tracking was not provided until I requested it, but customer service responds quickly and will provide you the 2nd tracking number. My desktop arrived 1 day after the frame. The product is also very well packed for shipping and customer service is helpful and responsive. 10/10

Wrong Holes on the board
I ordered the 78" desk. The frame and the board came on separate packages. The frame is width adjustable, and the maximum width supported on the instructions, and the hole pattern is 72". The 78" board didn't have the proper holes on the side, or across the center, to attach the frame.

A Good purchase
It made the room more organized and nicer. The installation was a challenge during it by myself. Once installed, it worked beautifully.
