3M Micropore Surgical Tape, 2.5cm x 5m

Not needed to use yet but seems good quality so far. Bought as part of an at-home first aid kit I put together. Good value for money compared to other stores I looked at.

Love this stuff - so easy to use and remove from skin. Adheres well to dressings and doesn't irritate the skin. My go-to tape for use with dressings.

As a runner and triathlete I learned that increasing distances to around 10km would lead to chafed nipples. A bit of Googling and I learned that jogger's nipple was a recognised condition, maybe only in the eyes of the running community and not the medical one, almost exclusively male as ladies have some protection from their sports bras. Thankfully mine never reached bleeding stage but they're certainly not comfortable. Plasters did the trick for me but seriously pulled hairs on removal, a friend finds plasters simply slip when sweaty. Google suggested micropore tape which I'd never heard of, but obviously Amazon have. This stuff solves the problem for me and is a lot easier to remove than plasters. You can get 2.5cm wide tape as well which is slightly cheaper but might not quite cover one's nipples, the 5cm wide variety ought to for virtually all males. There appear to be limitations though, I did my first half-marathon last year and there was still some chafing by the end of the longer distance, anyone looking to do further than that might want to look at alternative options. Now that I am aware of micropore tape and how it might benefit me, I did spot some (2.5cm) in Sainsburys recently, priced at under a pound so you might be able to get this cheaper elsewhere along with your groceries. It's hardly a pricey purchase here though given delivery is included and it looks as though mine will last me close to a year before I need to get any more.

It's difficult to believe that Micropore was first introduced as long ago as 1959. It has become the staple alternative for me as a band-aid. It is quick to apply and the papery backing is easily torn to length. My Gran never went anywhere without her roll of Micropore and we often joked that if your leg was hanging by a thread, Gran would patch it together with Micropore and that other great product, Savlon! Available in a range of sizes: 12.5mm, 25mm and 50mm (1/2", 1" & 2"), Micropore is excellent as a stabiliser to hold the edges of a minor cut together or to cover a bad scrape on knees or elbows. It is often the first barrier between the outside world and the healing wound. The adhesive is hypo-allergenic yet sticks well to skin leaving no residue when peeled off. The greatest property of Micropore is its structure, allowing fresh air to pass through to speed the healing while barring larger contaminants from causing infection. It is splash-proof and will resist water to a degree so you can have a shower or bath without worrying if it will peel off of its own accord. A highly recommended product to keep in your First Aid box, glove compartment or bag for instant use.

Ordered 2 rolls only 1 arrived. Waiting for supplier to respond to confirm if another is on the way separately or if I am not getting 2nd one (was stock at time of placing the order) and I'm not being charged for 2. Tape is genuine and in the original box and will do the job required. Just really disappointed I didn't get the full order after having arrived a day later than specified and due to timescales had to buy an alternative locally as was needed.

I use it for taping my mouth at night to encourage nose breathing, thus preventing snoring. I apply the tape vertically across my mouth. Good adhesion, non irritating. Some tape (both micropore tape and actual mouth tape) can be either sensitising on my skin or lacking good enough adhesion. Repeat purchaser of this tape. It does what I want it to do.

Ça a mis énormément de temps à arriver . Mais fait son travail . Colle bien sans arracher les cils inférieurs lors d'une pose d'extension de cil . La quantité du rouleau c'est un peu bof pour le prix ..

Articolo non corrispondente alla descrizione in quanto non è in silicone ma solo in carta. Oltretutto mi è stato consegnato senza la scatola 3M in foto ma solo in un piccolo sacchetto di plastica nel blister "Amazon" Di nastro come quello ricevuto io ne ho comprati 12 rotoli un paio di settimane fa pagati solo 8,50 in totale. Ovviamente ho aperto il pacco e subito chiesto il reso. Assolutamente deludente.

Wie erwartet klebt das Band perfekt, beim ablösen muss etwas stärker gezogen werden. Ich lege es vor dem befestigen kurz auf den Unterarm um die Klebekraft zu verringern. Das Klebeband habe ich bereits mehrmals bestellt und werde es auch gerne wieder bestellen.
