Desk Exercise whilst working
Have been pleased with the purchase, once a day I cycle for an hour under my desk whilst working, good to keep mobile whilst doing an immobile job.

Awesome product!
I bought the DeskCycle due to the fact that my new job (been doing it for a year now) requires me to sit at my desk working on my computer (I'm a researcher) for many hours a day at home. I found it hard to fit in any exercise during the day when I also have two school aged children to tend to. As a result, the pounds have gradually crept on. Thanks to the desk cycle, I can now do excercise whilst working. I received the equipment last week which was delivered really quickly (sold by LA Gym and fulfilled by Amazon) and the box was packed into a second larger box with paper packaging stuffed between the two boxes. There was no damage at all and the extension accessory to see the monitor on your desk was included. I should have known that had I read the product description properly on the Amazon website. The machine is quite heavy but sturdy. I didn't have any problems moving it around (I am 42 with no health problems). The machine does fit perfectly under my dining table which I work at and I did not have to adjust my normal dining chair either. I use it on a wooden floor and the machine hardly moves when I cycle. It does come with a long velcro strap should you wish to secure it to your chair. I haven't needed to use it. Being a person who used to go to the gym three times a week up until a few years ago, I find that the desk cycle does work you hard at resistance 4 pedalling at 24 km/h, and my, I certainly work up a sweat! As the monitor does not give you accurate calorie readings for the individual, I use the online calorie calculator which they tell you about in their manual. I am so delighted with this product. The only slight inconvenience for me is that it was awkward to attach the longer cable/wire for the monitor to be placed on the desk. The insert on the machine is too close to the back metal bar attachment which, in the diagram in the manual, looked like it was further away which would have meant easy insertion. So after the easy assembly, I had to remove the back bar again to plug the wire in. It just means that if I wanted to move the machine to another room, it would be more clumsy to carry it as well as the monitor and wire attached. I wouldn't want to remove the bar to pull the cable out each time I want to move it elsewhere. The machine is quiet too. I would definitely recommend this product. It is a great solution to my exercise problem.

Amazing product for anyone who spends long hours at a desk.
I’m always worried buying these things that have good reviews. It’s not always the case you get a good product. Like I do for most things I buy online I do my homework reading all the reviews everywhere and looking at multiple YouTube video reviews. The mass majority of them were positive so I went for it and purchased. Was fairly excited and had a good feeling so told my friends about it and got a bit of stick saying it would be a dust collector. They were very wrong, I know this already after only collecting today from my local post office where most of my deliveries go. I used it tonight while watching some of the euro qualifiers with family and friends. Just casually as a tester in my jeans on the lowest resistance. I ended up doing approx 17.8km and burned approx 138 calories in 90 minutes. I work at a desk 5-7 days a week for long hours, watch movies, play ps4 etc. Can you imagine how much better using this is going to be for me? Even if I casually use it while sitting. This product is amazing, I’m gutted I never knew about this before. So many years wasted sitting and doing nothing. I highly recommend.I would like to say setting up is easy but I got my mate who is way better at this stuff to put it together for me. Seemed straight forward enough, plenty of clear instructions. The display is actually alright, thought it might be useless but does it’s job. No complaints. 8 levels of resistance if ya want to put the shorts on and do a high intensity excercise. Product is sturdy. It’s rare enough I write reviews but I felt this product deserved a fair and honest positive review from me.

An exercise bike that CAN work under your desk
This is one of those exercise not-bikes, an exercise bike for those with a lack of space, with no silly seat, or handles to get in the way.It is a relatively compact exercise unit that can be used where exercise bikes are impractical. With this you can pedal while watching TV, crocheting, reading, lying down, or working at a desk. To fit under a desk, it has much shorter crank arm (the arm between the unit and pedals) so you can pedal with less likelihood of smacking your knees on the underside of your desk.As it can fit under your desk, those with New Year exercise resolutions can shed pounds without the need for unsightly lycra, or biking in bad weather.Unlike some of the other, cheaper exercise pedals, this one uses magnetic resistance to increase pedal difficulty. This means the increase is deliberate, repeatable and measured, unlike the ones that use a friction mechanism. With a friction mechanism the difficulty in changed by tightening a screw into the pedal axle, so over time the screw will either cut the axle in half or the friction screw will wear out. Typically, friction-based exercise pedals will have short operating lives. This design should last for ages. It's easy to put together, easy to use, has good instructions, a very decent supporting website and comes packed with all you need to get it working,Very clever you may think, but with this design intended to go under a desk, there's a flaw. The display won't be visible, as it's under a desk, connected to the exer-cycle. So if you want to check your calorie burn, distance travelled, time exercised, you'll have to climb under your desk. A silly proposition, you'll agree. But the manufacturers have an answer, an additional purchase, of course!Other than this small point, it's a good exercise/rehab tool.
