Very effective and good price.
These are a good price, especially for a pack of two. Living in the countryside ants are a nuisance you sometimes have to deal with coming in your house. This summer I found ants and flying ants on the inside of the back door, hovered them up and ordered these. I put them down as soon as they arrived, in a couple of days they were nearly gone and after a week they'd gone completely. The good thing about this method of getting rid of ants is the bait is taken back to the nest so kills the entire nest and clears the problem permanently, or at least until next year. You can still hoover up any ants you see, you'll never get them all and those that do get back will kill the entire nest. The only thing about these bait stations is I find the little bits of plastic you need to break off for them to work can be difficult to remove. The plastic is quite thick and can be difficult to snap, a flathead screwdriver is quite handy to use as a lever to snap them off. For anybody with dexterity issues that's probably the easiest way to get the bait station open. That's the only niggle I have with these, but other than they could be easier to open they are very effective and these were a good price. I'd definitely recommend them.

Does the job
I noticed purely by accident one day that a huge amount of ants were coming up through gaps behind my skirting boards in one room of the house. I got the vacuum cleaner out and got rid of some temporarily. I decided to buy the bait stations and put them in the main 2 areas that the ants were 'marching' through. For the first couple of days it didn't seem to be doing much & the ants seemed to just walk over the traps. A day later and a large amount of winged ants were congregating on the top of the traps all huddled together. The ants seemed to be walking around with no real sense or purpose & I was finding the odd corpse here and there. Then we had a week of heavy downpours outside and the amount of corpses inside the room increased by a huge amount. (The vacuum cleaner was definitely a lot busier) Every morning there were even more dead ants to clear up as they obviously decided that they weren't going to escape outside in the rain. On the whole, these bait traps work brilliantly but you have to be a little bit patient as they need time to do their thing. Once they start working (after a few days), they are very deadly to the ant nests. I have seen dead ants with eggs and larvae nearby. In the past week the numbers of dead has decreased to the odd one every now and then but I've not seen any walking around at all. For me they have worked really well.

Really fast solution and really easy.
Worked so fast ! Although worked so fast we had ants dying all over the hallway before they made it back to their nest. We had ants coming into our top floor hallway and couldn’t work out why they were coming in or where they were coming from. Some days there would be loads and then we wouldn’t see them for a day or so. The day we put this down there were more than ever and by the end of the day they were all gone but quite a few dead ones scattered indoors too. So impressed by how fast this worked as it’s been over a week now and not one ant has appeared ! Really easy to use just snap the 4 points off and put down, we’ve left it down for a week and a half since just encase but no more ants yet. So relieved that it fixed our mysterious ant issue so fast ! Delivery was fast too. ( no idea why it asks you to rate the Flavour when leaving a review though ??!)

Very effective
They product arrived packed as pictured. The instructions for indoor and outdoor use are very clear. We had been spotting the odd ant here and there for a few days inside the house and had narrowed down their point of entry to an inside wall. We laid out one station near the exit point of their nest as per instructions. Breaking off the little plastic stubs was difficult but I soon fogured out the trick: pushing them towards the station before breaking them off the other direction. At first nothing seemed to happen, so I laid out the second station about 20 cm away the other side of the exit of the nest. All of a sudden lots of ants started visiting the second station forming a trail and going in and out of the nest to the station. I became a little concerned at the activity as we had not had so many ants in the house before. But about two hours later the ants had dramatically reduced in numbers and slowed down in their movements. The following day we found a few dead ants around the house and then some slow ones further inside the house. I am currently hoping that these are just a few who have also tasted the bait and in a drugged state but destined to die have wondered off - we will see in a few days. So far I am very pleased with the result and have ordered more as back ups over the summer.

They really work!
I had an invasion of ants in my kitchen, on the worktops, in the food, everywhere. I put these two ‘stations’ down. One day later, the ants had gone, every last one of them. Quite impressed!

Seems to get rid of some ants but not all!
I've used this before. The first time it didn't seem to be working at first. After three days there had been no reduction in the ants and then, suddenly, on the forth morning, they were all gone. The next time I used it, all ants were gone after 24 hours - much better! Unfortunately, two years later my ants are now back so I purchased another pair of these. However, after five days, the ants are still here and are thriving. There had been an initial drop off in population after two days but they seem to have fought back. There are now more ants than ever before so I've had to open up the second pack. I'll not be using this brand again. Time to try another type. These aren't the same species so maybe it's only effective on some types of ants or some of these work and some just don't. The ants apear to ignore the packs entirely. The pack has no odour once opened. There's simply no way to tell if it's faulty or it just doesn't have any effect. It seems to be pot luck so I guess I'll take my chances on a different one next time around. Good luck if you try these out, I hope you have better results than I've had.
