Growth Technology Carnivorous Plant Repotting Mix 2 Litre Bag

Have used this plant soil on my sundews before I've found the soil excellent quality the plants love it

I've always had a few carnivorous plants in the house and haven't always grown them with great success. The potting material (according to a guide I once read) should be sphagnum moss, washed silver sand or vermiculite. Each has drawbacks. Vermiculite gets unpleasantly slimy. I don't know where you can buy sand that isn't contaminated with undesirable substances, and sphagnum moss tends to dry out and to develop a layer of algae. This small bag of potting mix was ideal for my needs, to repot three modestly sized plants and to keep in reserve for the future. I don't know where else you can buy this formulation - certainly not in an average garden centre. It feels like a mix of sand and peat. I think it will work well, but time will tell. You should also be aware that you should never apply any form of fertiliser to these plants as they require only rainwater. They don't like tap water.

Needed to put my Venus Fly trap in a larger pot and looked all over for a small bag of suitable compost. This is the only place where I could find a small bag.Even though I still have more than half the bag left. I repotted it about a month ago, my plant seems quite happy and has started to produce new shoots, so I’m happy too!

I bought this potting mix as I needed to repot my Venus flytrap as it was getting crowded. I found it was 5 different plants so I repotted the 3 larger & stronger ones in this mix and left the 2 weaker small ones in the original pot. The repotted ones went limp and I was worried about them, however after 6 months they now seem to have brightened up. The 2 left in the original mossy plant mix absolutely flourished straight away. The mix was easy to use but I’m not convinced it is the best soil mix for VFT.

Used this to help repot my Venus fly plants their coming along lovely helped a lot bag was smaller then wot I was expecting, (used to that tho) 🤣🤣 came quick to would use again

Sustrato de muy buena calidad. Lo he utilizado hoy mismo para trasplantar mi planta carnívora de maceta. Y aunque todavía es pronto para ver resultados, la calidad y la textura se vé en el producto.
