TROTEC TTK 65 E Dehumidifier (max. Capacity 20l/24h, for Room max. 110m³)

I read a review that stated that the item was not fitted with a UK plug. I contacted the seller who assured me that if I ordered one it would have a UK plug. Sure enough it did. The product arrived in its own retail packaging but this was sufficient to protect it during its travels from Germany. UPS delivered to my home with no problems. As per previous reviews, there is no in-depth manual supplied but it doesn't take long to establish how to work it. Make sure you disassemble the water tank as the casters are packaged inside! The unit looks modern and attractive. It is surprisingly heavy for its small size and it has a quality appearance. When I first used it, the weather was reasonably warm and I had no washing in the house. However it was full within half a day! It is FAR more powerful than my previous eBac dehumidifier which cost me twice as much. Furthermore the filters on the Trotec are washable so you don't have to fork out for expensive filters every couple of months. Once we had done some washing and hung it on clothes horses, the Trotec really got to work. I emptied it twice during the day and I can now see why it has a 2/4 hour timer. It's not silent in operation but I put it on the landing outside my bedroom door and was able to sleep with no problem. Unfortunately, I dehydrated into dust and I had to be brought back to life by my wife tipping a bucket of water on me. OK, the last sentence was an exaggeration but you get the idea of how powerful the unit is. I am VERY happy with my purchase. I don't like drying my clothes outside and the Trotec dries the clothes in record time and makes the whole house feel warmer and dryer. I alternate the unit upstairs and downstairs. It's great for the childrens' rooms as they can be thoroughly dried out making them cosier. Re previous questions, the unit does not act as a heater but the action of removing the moisture from the air does actually make the house feel slightly warmer and a lot more pleasant in the winter. I'm impressed with the quality of the unit bearing in mind I only paid £120.

I am a big fan of de-humidifiers - they are a necessity where I live (an old miner's cottage in Wales). This one is far better than my old one (and I thought that was good). It sucks out more condensation . It is sturdy but can easily be wheeled about. It has a long lead and 2 hooks at the back so that you can tidy up any excess cable. It automatically cuts out when the water tank is full and a flashing lights indicates that it needs emptying. I like the shape and overall appearance of it. The only very minor criticism is that it took me a while to fathom out how to get the casters out of the water tank as they had been packaged under the lid! Delivery from Germany was very quick.

I looked at many but chose this one and boy am i glad i did. It may be a bit noisy but i use ear plugs so it does not bother me. the unit itself works a treat, no more condensation on my windows, and the room is much warmer so much so i turn my radiator of when the dehumidifier is on. i had a really bad problem with moisture in this room but i had no idea how bad till i got this machine. after 24 hours i had filled the tank which holds 2 ltrs so not a small tank by any means. this happens every day as i have to empty the tank that often. All in all, i am very very happy with this purchase,and i am sure you will be too. I waited until now to give a review because i wanted to test the machine out properly so i could give a full and honest review, and all i can say is, if you need a dehumidifier this is the one to get. Good value for money also. Great!!!

Good sturdy product. Works well. A bit on the heavy side.

This is an excellent work horse and having used it for three months I am delighted. The flat was suffering from quite a bit of humidity and this machine has sorted that problem out. I now use it intermittently, particularly when my wife is having a long session with the washing machine and dryer and when we have showers I bought a model which can deal with the bigger rooms because the flat is quite large. It does cope efficiently with rooms up to the size it claims. OK it is heavy and I would not be keen on carrying it up stairs in a house, but for the flat it is easy to move around on its castors. It appears to be a typical tough German product. When it comes to the guarantee, given that the product comes from Germany and needs to go back there for service if there is a problem, I did hesitate before placing my order. However, I wrote to Germany and they assured me that in the event of a problem I simply had to contact them and they would send a pre-paid address label for me to return the machine and they would sort it out. They call it a warrenty rather than a guarantee and it is valid for two years. Delivery was fast, I placed the order on a Friday and the dehumidifier was with me three working days later on the Wednesday undamaged and in excellent condition. It had an English plug! As a final point in looking at the feedback on various Trotec dehumidifiers people say that the instructions are very poor. I suspect that is because the firm is a little careless in including them on dispatch. I received virtually nothing, I wrote to question that and I was immediately sent a very useful detailed set of instructions. Now I said at the beginning that my machine is a work horse. It is not particularly stylish (they do have some much nicer looking designs) and I suspect it has recently gone out of production. However, based on my experience I think one can buy any Trotec dehumidifier with confidence - just ensure it has the capacity required to deal with the size of rooms in your property.

Excellent article, je m'en sers tous les jours depuis réception il y a 2 semaines, il est simple d'utilisation et vraiment efficace. Je l'ai d'abord mis en mode continu les 10 premiers jours, il a supprimé environ 5 litres par jour dans une pièce de 25 m² les 3 premiers jours. Je suis passé d'environ 65-70% à 50% (vérifié sur station météo) après seulement 2 jours d'utilisation continue donc 10 litres environ de vidé. Je suis vraiment agréablement surpris par la quantité d'humidité qu'il est capable d'enlever mais aussi de la sensation d'air sec depuis que je l'ai mis en route, après 2-3 jours la température ressenti est plus élevée et l'air plus sain. Depuis 4 jours il est réglé en automatique, activation à 60% d'hygrométrie, désormais je vide de moins en moins environ 2 l/j par temps humide et pluvieux, moitié moins par beau temps.Il est possible d'y fixer un tuyau d’évacuation (non fourni) à condition qu'il soit placé à une certaine hauteur par rapport au conduit de sortie d'eau (voir notice). Après avoir hésité avec des produits moins cher j'ai préféré me fier aux commentaires et à ses caractéristiques et je suis vraiment content de cet achat, je pense rapidement en acheter un deuxième pour ma cave. In poco tempo, è il secondo deumidificatore Trotec che ho acquistato da Amazon: questo l'ho fatto recapitare direttamnente all'indirizzo di mia sorella che abita da sola, ha una certa età ed ha grossi problemi di umidità nel suo appartemento: ho unito all'ordine anche un igrometro molto semplice e immediato nella lettura. Riferisco quanto mia sorella mi ha fatto sapere. Il pacco è arrivato il giorno dopo il mio ordine (non prime), l'ha disimballato e fatto partire da sola seguendo il foglio dellle istruzioni brevi (il manuale glielo ho scaricato io dal sito Trotec). Messo in funzione, ha cominciato a raccogliere acqua in maniera impressionante: nei primi giorni è arrvaito a produrre 5 taniche di acqua: 20Litri, pari al valore citato delle caratteristiche tecniche. Quanto al rumore, ha detto che non è superiore a quello di un ventilatore, non dà fastidio, soprattutto se si pensa che sta lavorando per risanare l'appartemento. Ad un mese di utilizzo, la quantità di umidità raccolta non supera i 2-4 litri al giorno, spostandolo in punti critici dell'appartamento, controllati con l'igrometro. Inoltre, messo vicino allo stendino, asciuga la bianchria, senza ulteriore umidità. Ha detto che le pareti a nord delle stanze sono asciutte, le muffe sono sparite da sole, la moquette ha aquistato una consistenza migliore e con l'aspiratore raccoglie molta più polvere. Anche l'aria è più respirabile ed il freddo meno fastidioso., In pratica, mia sorella sta risolvendo il suo annoso problema: io ho fatto una bella figura ed in pratica ho fatto un buon acquisto. Mi dispiace, ma se avessi girato per negozi, avrei perso tempo, dovuto acquistare quello che era disponibile, ad un prezzo sicuramente superiore.

Ich habe das Gerät vor zwei Jahren gekauft. Es ist seitdem mit top Leistung dauernd in Betrieb. Grund war Schimmel im Waschkeller aufgrund zuwenig und falschen Lüftungsverhaltens. Was ich beispielsweise nicht wußte, ist, dass warme Luft im Sommer mehr Wasser enthält und wenn es dann in den kälteren Keller strömt, kondensiert es. Also setzt sich das Wasser an den Wänden ab. Ich dachte immer, schönes Wetter, Fenster auf im Waschkeller - von wegen! Wir haben den Schimmelschaden saniert und dieses Gerät gekauft, damit kein neuer Schimmel auftritt. Wenn ich Wäsche aufhänge, läuft nun immer der Luftentfeuchter. Der zieht Wasser aus der Luft - es ist wirklich krass, wie viel Feuchtigkeit noch in einer Ladung Wäsche ist!! Und dabei haben wir eine topmoderne Maschine mit hoher Umdrehungsleistung. Ich kippe literweise das Wasser weg! Man kann die Zeit auf 2 oder 4 Stunden einstellen, für Dauerbetrieb kann man auch einen Ablaufschlauch hinten ranmachen und das Wasser abführen. Ist der Wasserbehälter voll, geht das Gerät aus, daher funktioniert ein Dauerbetrieb nur mit dem Schlauch. Es gibt drei verschiedene Trocknungsgrade, HIGH ist für die Trocknung von Wäsche geeignet. Der Waschkeller riecht nicht mehr modrig, die getrocknete Wäsche im übrigen auch nicht. Hab den Luftentfeuchter auch mal an meine Freundin ausgeliehen, die vor einer Reise noch dringend ihre Wäsche waschen und trocknen wollte - das Gerät hat in einer Nacht ihre Wäsche durchgetrocknet und sie konnte mitnehmen, was sie brauchte. Sie war begeistert! Ich habe mir ein zweites, kleineres Gerät von Trotec fürs Badezimmer gekauft, das leistet da auch ganz tolle Dienste. Perfekt für innenliegende Badezimmer ohne Fenster, oder eben wie bei mir, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, das Fenster nicht auf Kippe stehen lassen kann und daher leider nicht so lüften kann. Den Luftfilter kann man leicht entnehmen und reinigen, dann einfach wieder einsetzen. Ich möchte das Gerät nicht mehr missen und bin über den Kauf sehr froh.

L'équipement fonctionne très bien, il 'est pas très bruyant (le bruit d'un gros ventilateur) et récupère rapidement de l'eau dans des pièces humides en abaissant le taux d'humidité, rien à voir avec les appareils à pastilles... Le bac peut contenir 4l ce qui laisse le temps de voir venir La vitesse du ventilateur est variable (3 vitesses) et donc le flux d'air et le bruit également. Il y a une fonction Timer (2h ou 4h) pour arrêter automatiquement l'appareil en marche, ou pour différer le départ s'il est éteint. Un afficheur affiche le taux d'humidité relative approximatif de l'air, ou la consigne (touches + et -) Il est possible d'avoir un fonctionnement en continu en ajoutant un tuyau classique (non fourni) vers une évacuation d'eau, en utilisant la sortie prévue sur le coté, derrière une trappe L'assemblage semble de bonne qualité, ainsi que les plastiques. Le bac est facile à retirer et à remettre en place? L'équipement est assez lourd (15kg) mais une poignée sur le dessus et des roulettes facilitent les déplacements.
