Define & Shine Custard 340g

I have bought this product many times. I have used it for a number of years. Of all the products I have tried, to tame my curly hair, this product produces the best curls – the bounciest and shiniest curls, that last for a couple of days before needing reviving. I find the best time to apply this product is onto clean hair that is still dripping wet. The consistency of this product is a thick slime. A little goes a long way, which I apply by sliding my hands down thick slices of hair to encourage the curls to clump together. My hair dries with a cast, which I can then scrunch out. As long as my hair is completely dry first, I am not left with visible residue. I like that my hair does not feel weighed down by this product, as it does with cream-based products. My hair does not turn frizzy or fluffy when I use this product. Important to say, as curly hair tends to be drier, I try to only wash mine once per week with a deeply moisturising shampoo and conditioner. I can usually revive my curls midweek using a spray bottle containing distilled water and a spoonful of this product – shaken very well before application. I feel this product is very affordable and lasts me approx. 3 months.

I always use this product for my curly hair and it is amazing. I have now been using it for years. My hair is still soft but not fizzy. I also love the smell.

This leaves my naturally curly hair in soft curls, but not the ones that you can scrunch and air dry. I needed to add one of the those gels that make you hair stiff for that extra curl on the end. Nice stuff though and will use it all.

Love this cream. I always used twisted sista in the past, but that does tend to go crunchy unless your hair is very wet. This cream leaves my naturally frizzy hair super soft, and it now looks shiny, but not greasy. And the smell - just gorgeous

When I first opened this out of the package it leaked everywhere, due to it being so runny and I thought I was gonna be left disappointed. However, it has helped restore my natural curl with the help of other products and this does help to hold the curls for a few days. I have naturally thick, curly and wavy hair, what has been damaged due to having bleach highlights and using heat products for the last few years and it is has lost its curl. I used this after washing my hair, but before applying this I would apply my hair oil and leave in conditioners and comb that through, then I would applying a small amount of curl activator and lager than through my hair by section and then I would applying a small amount of this and plop my hair, and by the next morning my hair had somehow magically restored its curl and wave pattern. It looked gorgeous for the first few days, but then would loose it’s curl after a few days, but I think that’s down to how damage my hair is. I do find that this could dry hair out if used a lot, therefore need to make sure you apply leave in conditioner beforehand and only use on wet hair. But overall, good product to help restore curl pattern and would order again!

Although this product smells good and yields well, it ends up leaving an appearance of false dandruff on the hair as you use it.

Having curly hair is all about working out what products work best for you. I have found that cream based products absolutely do not work on my hair, and when I found this I have never used anything else since! I find that it works best when applied to wet hair straight after washing. It doesn’t feel heavy on my hair, it defines my curls beautifully and I always get compliments on the smell! Fantastic product.

My hair is more manageable using it. Also, the smell and texture of the product are great.

Mi pelo es ondulado si lo dejo secar al aire y no le echo ningún producto. Con muy poca cantidad de Cantú y secado con difusor consigo rizar mi pelo como cuando era una niña. La definición del rizo es estupenda. Lo utilizo todos los días ya que me lavo el pelo a diario. No reseca. Lo uso hace varios años. Tiene un ligero aroma a coco aunque desde que cambiaron la fórmula apenas se percibe. Estoy encantada con él.
