Quality and quiet
Bought 2 along with a temperature probe to keep a media cabinet cool that houses a SKY box and router. The fans are well packaged and look quality. Templates included for fitting, along with all necessary screws. Reversing the fans is also easy (I've one for inflow, and the 2nd for outflow), and both fans and probe are connected to a single power outlet. On low, the fans cannot be heard, and even on high you would struggle to hear them above other background or TV noises. Very impressed.

Carefully thought out, beautifully designed, and meticulously manufactured.
I don’t usually write reviews but this is a fantastic product beautifully made with every detail really carefully considered. Quality is faultless down to excellent instructions and a couple of extra nuts for each size in the packets in case you drop one which is all to easy to do. You really get the impression when you're fitting these fans that someone who has actually fitted them put this kit together. The templates are rigid plastic, there are screws and bolts to suit a timber cabinet install or a rack install as I did and you can easily reverse one or both of the fans to blow in rather than extract. I reversed one so cold air is blown into the air at the bottom and hot air is extracted at the top. You can even expand the kit to four fans if you want of one controller. I contacted infinity's tech support prior to purchase to check on whether settings are retained after a power outage and they confirmed immediately on their chat that they were. The UI is easy and well thought out. It’s a real breath of fresh air to receive a premium designed and beautifully made product at a great price (check how expensive these have been at Amazon in the past with a price checker), so much so I found myself looking round the house to find other opportunities to install them. They have reduced the rack temperature and maintained it constantly. See my pic from the router’s temperature monitoring. This kit was exactly what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Carefully thought out, beautifully designed, and meticulously manufactured. Thanks Infinity- I’m really impressed!!! Would give this 10 stars if I could!

Extremely quiet and very efficient
I purchased two Airplate S7 units to fit into a cupboard that I was using to house my two NAS units. The cupboard was getting very warm prior to installing the S7s but now it is always nice and cool. Very easy to fit and extremely quiet. This small cupboard is my lounge and the noise from the fans is practically non-existent (I have them running at the highest speed).

Great quality for the price, upgrade fans for ultimate performance
This is a well built and designed product, easy to fit with the included plastic templates for the fans and controller. As expected though, the fans are relatively noisy. It’s not a surprise at this price point as a pair of decent fans are half the cost of this unit. I wish manufacturers would sell these without fans so you can supply your own. I ended up buying 2x Noctua NF-A12x25 5V. It’s important you get the 5V version and non PWM. With these fitted, noise levels were dramatically decreased. I measured before and after with the dB meter on top of the cabinet the fans were in. Ambient noise level 35.4 dBA Old fans: Min speed - 38.4 dBA Max speed - 46 dBA Noctua fans: Min speed - 35.4 dBA Max speed - 45.3 dBA As you can see the Noctua fans are inaudible at the lowest speed. It’s also worth noting that the noise is a different tone that is easy to ignore, as opposed to the higher pitched tones present on the standard fans. The Noctua fans spin faster at the max setting, so this accounts for the noise levels being closer to the standard fans, even so, they’re still quieter and it’s unlikely you’d want, or need those speeds, without some serious heat issues anyway. I’d recommend the installation of fine mesh filters to stop the dust affecting the fans and the inlet sucking dust into your cabinet. When the fans are off there is a high pitched tone from the power supply but I can’t hear this when behind the cabinet. Worth noting though if you have this plugged in somewhere close and exposed. Edit: The power supply actually died after a couple of weeks, which accounts for the high pitched tone. AC Infinity is a US company. Their website doesn't actually list these as having the option for a UK plug, but it was labelled AC infinity. Rather than having to remove everything from my cabinet and send back, I sourced a better quality, identical spec power supply locally. For reference you would need a 2A (or higher) 6.5V (7V Max according to specs) AC adapter with a 2.1mm x 5.5mm jack. Since fitting the new one it has been absolutely fine. I may have just got unlucky, but worth factoring in. In conclusion your money is buying a good looking frame, great installation instructions with plastic templates and a quality fan controller. In my mind this is still worth the purchase cost, just factor in that you may want to replace the fans and need to replace the ac adapter.

Quality item, great finish, quiet and professional.
Using it on my homebuilt server rack to force air through from the front of the disk storage (12 bays so generates quite a bit of heat) and its been great this summer. Previously the inbuilt fans on the DAS (direct attached storage) would ramp up from the default slowest of 1, to 2 or 3 when we had hot days. With this driving a gentle feed of air in addition it's stayed at 1 even on the hottest days, and the additional noise is only very slightly detectable, whereas the DAS going up to its 2nd speed is over twice the db of level 1. Great addition to the home server setup.

All you have to do is open the package to know it's a high quality product. You know how you get stuff on Amazon and it's basically loose in a box with no instructions, well this is the opposite! The box is worth saving. Haven't installed the Fan yet as my project to wall mount it to circulate air from a gas fireplace isn't ready yet. Tested it and it works very well, and very quite. Removed the faceplate because I need to paint it. It's actually a shame because it has a brushed aluminum black anodized finish which is perfect. Faceplate grills are rubber mounted to reduce noise, just another example of quality.

I ordered this fan to add to my battery spot welder as the internals get very hot and cause electrical component issues. It is a flush mount fan, therefore I had to make a spacer so that the fan does not hit any internal components. High fan speed is a little slower than I expected, but again, I don't think this is to be used as a velocity fan, but more of an air circulation fan. The 2 styles of USB connections don't seem well placed, or not useful ( in my application) but again these types of power connections may work well when used in their true purpose as entertainment cabinet fans in conjunction with other electrical devices. Very happy with my little fan!

I bought this fan to rig up as a small kitchen exhaust fan in my tiny house. I needed something that would allow me to exhaust through an awning window and this fan attached to a board works really well. It sucks up a ton of humid air and pushes it outside quietly and efficiently. It was pretty expensive for what I was hoping to pay but the quality of the product is very pleasing. This product both functions very well and looks very nice. If it happens I need another one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again.

I have a floating media center which has 3 cabinet spaces and 2 sliding doors (see photos). All the cabinet spaces have walls in between but there’s gaps in the rear walls so air and heat transfers between them. The right cabinet is just storage, no electronics. The center cabinet has a PS5 and xBox. In the left cabinet, I have my router, modem, Apple TV and a Synology NAS Diskstation for cloud storage. I know my setup is much less than ideal for electronics but it’s what I have. The sliding doors on the cabinet only allow me to have 1 area open to free air at a time. The electronics in the left cabinet are stable with the door closed, until I fire up the PS5. The PS5 would exhaust hot air into the back and the Synology Diskstation would shut down after reaching 140 degrees. After installing this fan, the temp in the left cabinet dropped to 120 degrees while running the PS5 and 110 degrees with it off. The internal temp of the PS5 also dropped 15 degrees because the fan helped draw in cold air from the front. The fan switch is a great option so you can control fan speed. It does run very quiet, less noise than the vibration noise on my Diskstation from the drives spinning. Powering options are great with the attached USB and included 110 v power outlet plug if wanted. You can plug it into a constant USB source if you want it to run non stop or you can plug it into a switched on/off source if it’s only needed when a specific device is powered on. Since I only had overheating issues when the PS5 was on, I chose to plug it into the PS5 USB port and set it up to shut off 3 hours after the PS5 powers down. Quiet, good quality, easily expandable to add more fans, powering options and fan speed control definitely make this recommended.
