Sculpey Premo Polyclay 57gr White (n°5001), 2oz

I am just expanding my small business and am about to branch out into the world of polymer clay. I purchased this because after doing research found that this is the best to use for jewellery. I have baked a batch of this in my small oven and it turned out great. It has a bit of flex to it once cured and seems very strong.

Iuse Sculpey for all my craft projects - it is consistently reliable. I used this green to make leaves for bees to sit on when making bookmarks out of craft sticks to give away to promote our local art society. I use the mokume gane folding technique to create the leaves which are very effective - but I need clay with a regular consistency to make it work properly.

I find this brand of polymer clay the best, easy to work with with a professional finish and they do a variety of stunning colours

I bought this clay hoping to get a champagne colour that is cheaper than FIMO. I had assumed this clay would be more towards the cream/brown side of colouring, like the picture would indicate. But it is very dusky pink (more like skin tone) and just slightly off colour to the image shown to sell it, in my honest opinion. This clay is durable, relatively easy to warm and shape. It can be a little bit stiff and you have to work with it a tad more than some other premium brands. Otherwise it’s good!

Really great clay, smaller than I expected but all good, made some cute things. Only thing was white collects lots of dust which is visible when baked, probably my error though!

It crumbles badly like cookies crumble and bits go everywhere, your model cracks and falls apart but if you get it to the oven in one piece it still cracks it somehow manages to hold tougher.

Buy twice the amount you think you will need, because this is GREAT amazing modeling stuff and works well as a white, keeping a lovely pure white colour when cooked, but also mixs well with red to make pink etc etc so you can make lots and lots of different shades, I need more already!!!!
