Bought Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Cream (Atomic Turquoise) for my daughter, who treats her hair colour like a subscription service — new shade every month. The colour payoff is fantastic. Atomic Turquoise is vibrant, bold, and exactly the kind of “you’ll notice it from across the street” blue-green you’d hope for. It goes on smoothly and distributes evenly. What really impressed me is how well it lasts. Even with her washing her hair every single day (despite my ongoing water-saving campaign), the colour holds up far better than expected. It fades nicely rather than going patchy. It leaves hair feeling in good condition too — not dry or straw-like, which is always a concern with frequent colour changes. If you’re after a bright, statement colour that doesn’t disappear after a week, this is a great choice. Five stars. Bold, long-lasting, and apparently worth ignoring my water lectures for.

I used to use manic panic when I was at university, but haven't used it for years. Recently I lost my hair to chemo and it grew back prematurely grey. It was making me a bit miserable so I decided to dye it a bright colour and went back to manic panic. You DO have to be prepared for it to dye your life as well as your hair for a little while, but it IS a temporary colour, it comes off things. When I used it back in the day I'd clean the shower right after dying it so as not to annoy anyone. This time I live alone and so just didn't bother to clean up, I was surprised when on my next shower almost all of it came off the wall of its own accord. The rest came off easily the next time I cleaned the shower. It comes off skin easily too, although I'd recommend vaseline around the hairline before dying. I actually managed to get some on the white painted wall at one point and it came off with an alcohol wipe. The only place I have trouble getting it off is my finger nails. The colour is much more vibrant than I expected, clearly grey hair agrees with it, I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to apply and was gentle on my newly grown hair. I have plenty left for additional colouring over the next month or two, it is too soon to say when I'll need to reapply.

i’ve used this for years and although it is a beautiful, vibrant colour and leaves my hair super soft and healthy it just STAINS EVERYTHING. it bleeds in the rain, it ruins bathroom walls and guest towels when i stay somewhere, just a nightmare. but if that doesn’t bother you then this is the best colour!

I bought this item after deciding I wanted to dye my hair for the first time. I had done some research and found Manic Panic to be a well recommended dye. I was reluctant to bleach my hair and in the end decided not too. I have a naturally darkish blonde hair colour and decided to just give it a try without bleaching. I was incredibly impressed, the colour did come out darker than the picture of the swath of hair shows but that's what I expected. The colour was brilliant! It's also really easy to do yourself and I managed to do it easily having never dyed my hair before. YouTube and the Manic Panic website have great tutorials if needed! It was about 3/4 weeks before I had to reapply to keep the colour which I was more than happy to do as it doesn't damage the hair. As it fades, it fades to a lovely light blue/green colour. I am more than happy with the product and am waiting for the colour to fade before ordering a new one. The dye came in great time and the pot had enough for me to dip dye my waist length hair over half way up three times (with there still being some left). I would recommend it to anyone.

I am no stranger to dying my hair myself, I've been doing it since I was 12 or 13. This was my first time using Manic Panic & definitely my last. I had quite pale, faded red hair on one half of my head and decided to dye over it with the blue, as you can see it went black and blue? I'm not even super mad about that, I know that dying over dyed hair can have mixed results, I get it. I attempted to use it a second time, this time doing my other side as well (which was a pale natural brown) and was surprised to find it didn't take at AT, it did nothing. I'd read some reviews of having to use it more than once, so thought this might achieve a semi-okay looking final look. Nope! Did absolutely nothing. That annoyed me! Like at least let the other wise of my hair match somewhat!? Finally tonight I decided to buy a basic brand black hair dye to do over it and be done with the weird colours - this is my typical fix whenever I bugger up my hair by overdying it or the colour comes out wrong - only to find... the colour won't take! I have never, ever had this happen and I've dyed my hair millions of times! What a waste of money, time & energy! I know others have mentioned about the stains this product can leave but wow! I really wasn't prepared! Even though gloves, it stained my hands! Not a single trick for removing hair dye from skin worked! I had to spend two days with Smurf hands! Even when I washed my hair a second time (and I'm always very thorough with rinising until water runs clear when dying my hair) I got blue hands again! I couldn't believe it! My bathroom walls are all stained with blue as is my shower curtain! I cannot stress enough, don't bother with this crap! Far better brands out there.

The dye took well but the colour didn’t match the sample picture on hair or in the pot. I was hoping for a vibrant forest green but what I actually got was the same as manic panic shocking blue with better results. I’ve been blue for a while now so it’s not the worst situation but it’s not what I was hoping for. I bleached my hair completely white before this so it had a good base, this is the accurate colour.

This is a lovely colpur but more yellow tone rather than orange. Regardless I have jad nothing but comments all day how they love my hair. I Went a darker orange on my roots so I look like I have fire hair right now

First time bleaching, put in the dye, was really nervous how light it was when i applied the red passion. I used two and a half tubs, when i washed it out, it was a bright red. I loved how it didnt look like a murder scene when washing it out. It didnt stain like other dyes, and didnt smell like others do. You gotta remember its a black light dye, so its going to come out neon red not cherry red. Clown red is what it is, but i love it 100%.

Great color, gives a beautiful muted pink color on level 8 hair. However, it doesn't wash out, it's still visible after 6 months after use...
