Worked for me!
Baught this book from a recommendation as I wanted to improve my sales figures. After reading this book, I had a better understanding of how to sell my product and more confidence. My figures did in fact increase and I can honestly say it's down to this.

Must read for any one that desires anything in life as it will help you attain what you want through techniques learnt in this book

Dated and suited for door to door only
Upsides - A decent amount of classic sales knowledge. Some ideas and methods are still true today.Downsides - The majority of the content is very dated. Zig's style does not flow very well. There is a lot of filler in this book (especially the section on keeping fit and healthy). 90% of the case studies are based on door to door sales. Use of a phone is barely mentioned, if at all. Stopped reading for now at 45% the way through.

Great book for anyone who wants to become a better salesman. I've read it over and over and it's full of highlights.

Great for direct selling not so relevant for enterprise sales
The book starts off strongly but I feel it loses its way towards the end of the book. There is some excellent material regarding developing your mental game when approaching the sale. The text is a little dated and some readers may find it a little sexist but the core lessons are well worth reading the book.

It’s about the sales person not the sales process
I wasn’t a fan of sales until I read this book. A mentor of mine helped me be more comfortable with sales by telling me that “don’t think of it as sales. It’s problem solving with a price attached to it”.This book adds further to my comfort level for selling as it’s really the sales persons belief that the product/service will help the buyer. I believe in what I’m selling and will be helping others to buy!
