The hole in the bottle compartment is too small to fit a standard 5l water bottle. where can i live?

Is there supposed to be water sitting in the ice bin? My other one never did. The ice drops into the water.

There is water below the basket but not over the basket.

How do you set the timer on this thing? I tried googling it and can’t find an answer.
