Realistic toy.
I love the quality of this toy, it looks so realistic (the eyes, the feet, the jaw,...), and it seems durable too (so far, at least) . The jaw opens and closes, which quite fun for kids. Full price is a bit expensive maybe, but we got it on special and it was worth every penny.

A sad ending
A fantastic model of a T Rex with moveable jaw. My four year old was thrilled to receive it this weekend as a special gift for working hard at school. He has a fine collection of Schleich dinosaurs and animals but this one was the most expensive. The detail was true to life (I should imagine) and the colouring pretty realistic too. Imagine his despair when he took it out shopping yesterday and lost it! It looks as if we will have to leave it a while and see what Father Christmas brings!!!! Joking apart. It is such a shame as we all loved this Schleich model. These toys are bound to thrill as they are so realistic and are tolerant to never ending play.

"Must Go Faster"
Anyone born with eyeballs has seen and been blown away the T-Rex scenes in Jurassic Park. With the obvious exception of Jeff Goldblum's bizarre delivery of his lines, it's the highlight of the film for me. As a kid, I know I'd have killed for a figure like this; the size and weight is perfect, the level of detail and the hinged jaw makes it one of the best dinosaur figures I've ever seen. Admittedly, the decision to make it Incredible Hulk green is a little off-putting as modern opinion puts them somewhere near olive green or grey but that's a minor grumble. As a parent, I know my children love Schleich dinosaurs (we have Carnotaurus and Spinosaurus too) and they provide hours of creative play. Admittedly, they're not the cheapest dinosaur toys on the market but they are robust and well-made so paying that bit extra makes it worthwhile. They are waterproof (always good to know) and pretty much bash-proof although, from experience, I know paint can and will chip from the extremities after a while. I'm not entirely sure about the durability of the hinged jaw either and whether the kids will end up with a permanently surprised looking T-Rex after a few months of rough play. All we need now is a gas-powered jeep and an annoyingly smug mathematician action figure and we can recreate my favourite scenes...

Perfect
Schleich models are fantastic, not the cheapest granted but the quality is spot on. The T. rex is solid, attention to detail is amazing and to be honest I’m quite happy to have it sat on the mantelpiece when my little one isn’t playing with it! The moveable mouth is a nice touch and the amount of open ended play you can have with a schleich model is a winner in my book. It’ll be one of the few toys I’d save for the next generation if and when my little one grows out of dinosaurs.

Sturdy
Bought this for my dinosaur obsessed godson. The detail is fantastic. Not soft but durable, sturdy plastic(?) Material. Its not a huge toy but it's not tiny either. A fair size. Excellent price and quality as I have seen others smaller for a lot more money
