Great little unit
This is a great little CD and radio unit. We were going to wire it to our original speakers but it is such a good quality sound we haven't bothered. Despite one or two negative comments about no English plug, this was provided.

2-pin fuss
Why all the negative reviews about the 2-pin continental power lead? Just go and buy a ‘European visitor to UK’ adapter and all is well.

Surprisingly accomplished. DAB weak in rural areas though.
Still gets 5*. Bought through another UK supplier beginning with "A" for well under a a Cockney ton in 2018. Delivers high sound (living room) levels and runs very cool thanks to efficient and neutral class D amplifier. CD is there for legacy material and bluetooth conveys laptop/smart phone grooviness quite seemlessly. DAB circuitry struggles in rural location which is only a minor bummer as you can obviously bluetooth from an internet connected device. The speakers look MFI but deliver well even at high SPLs. I'm listening through KEF eggs and tbh would probably struggle in a blind test to separate them. Stonking performance.

Great sound but poor design
For the size and price the sound is great, no complaints there. However usability is poor. The display has a very narrow viewing angle. In order to save a few pennies on some extra buttons the navigation is impossible. Every button has several functions and everything you want to do involves a sequence of button presses.I still can't remember how to go between tuning and presets on the radio so the presets never get used.Finding songs on a USB stick is a nightmare and there's no shuffle (or it's hidden behind other functions - I haven't found it).

Cheap and cheerful mini system
Cheap and cheerful mini hi-fi system. Good for a small room, the sound is OK but not brilliant. Very versatile as you can play CD's, radio and gas both Bluetooth and USB port. Looks pretty too.
