GLI 12V-330

For context, I am a DIYer with a preference for the professional range of tools. I run a Bosch 12V platform and a Milwaukee 18V platform. One reviewer gave a short but truly apt description to the effect that the guys and gals at Bosch had really put a lot of thought into this worklight. The Bosch team really took many things into consideration and addressed them well. Performance wise, the spectral balance of the light is just spot on, and colours are true. The brightness is amazing for something this small. I was initially looking for something with lots of LEDs to ensure I had the brightness I would have sought in a mains power worklight, but no need! The Bosch team simply picked the right LEDs. I have a second rechargeable multi-function torch (non professional) from LIDL which has been my trusted companion for such DIY work. I tried it next to this Bosch worklight and the difference was stark, with the Bosch on the winning side of that divide. I have some Bosch 12V Pro products so already had the batteries. I have done some pretty extended spells of 6 hours plus in the loft with the light on all the while and have not once run out of juice using a 2.0Ah battery. Features wise; well, here is where the thought that went into this product really shines through! I found I could mount this worklight pretty much anywhere with its clever base that is also magnetic. You always worry with magnetic mounting if you don't get that emphatic snap as it clicks into place, but clearly Team Bosch balanced the weight of the product against the magnetic force so it just seems to stay in place. I distributed a few small mounting hooks around the loft for greater versatility and mounting but didn't really need them all in the end because of the great tilt and turn available. The one thing against this product is the pricing. It does feel a tad over-priced for what it is, but having owned one now for a couple of weeks, I have to say any buyer's remorse there was to be had faded within the first hour of use. I can confidently say I would not hesitate getting another one! This is an impressive little product from Bosch that I am happy to recommend!

The light is bright and the magnet is handy for working under the car.

I've had one of these for 10 years, it's one of the most used items in my extensive tool box and it still works perfectly. I was once on site in an enormous plant room and my co-worker was about 20 feet off the ground clambering up the maze of steam pipes when he dropped this torch. It clanged on every 6" and 10" pipe on the way down before slamming onto the hard concrete floor. I walked over and picked it up. Apart from a very minor scuff it was in perfect working order and hadn't even turned off on impact. So as my eldest has bought her first house the other day, I bought another one of these torches (along with the excellent drill/ driver/ battery packet) knowing that she'll get many many years of useful life out of it. The lithium batteries are also holding up really well. It's not the cheapest thing in the world but I've used mine for hundreds of hours and it is reliable, dependable and useful. Top tip - I bought a 60" Amazon Basics tripod for less than 20 quid which turns this torch into a stand light. Super useful.

Very bright and durable worklight. This is very useful when working in the dark, lights up the whole room. Battery life is ok with 2.0mah lion battery. The magnetick base and clip are very useful when you need hands free. Overall its not too bulky and it s quality product. Price wise I think it should be cheaper considering you have to buy your own battery, but I suppose your paying for a quality product from a trusted name.

What a great find - no batteries or charger included but if you already use Bosch tools (12v/10.8v) then you're laughing. Extreme brightness, cool white colour LED's. Versatile product design features caribener clip, table stand, magnetic base & tripod screw thread all in one. Hinged body allows precise focus & simple, large power button which works well & is easily accessable, although position on front next to LED's can dazzle eyes on switch off. Charge lasts for hours on good/full battery & flashes 3 times to indicate 5 minutes remaining run-time. Brightness remains consistent right up to drained battery & lights up the room, although needs close positioning to workpiece for optimum performance. Used dozens of times in only a couple of weks with faultless performance. Seems very rugged & compact for such a worklight - wish I had this years ago. Can also recomend Bosch GAS cordless dust extractor (handheld hoover to you & me) which uses same batteries.

This innovative work light is great for giving you access to the work area. This enables you to work with both hands. There are several ways to adjust the position of the lamp, by means of a stand, magnets if there is a steel area to stick it on to and the stand doubles as a hanger. The hanger has a spring-loaded section down one edge. All in all, it is one of the most useful items in my tool tote and with the likelihood of Power Cuts just around Wintertime it will be most appreciated.

Good light 12v system but 3 aph not for 9 hours work maybe 3,4 hours

I already had a DeWalt LED work light, and so hesitated to buy this. Glad I did- much smaller, but just as bright. It does not stop there- the number of ways you can place it are amazing. It can stand, hook over a nail, magnetically attach, has a carabiner to hang from a rope or similar, and has a tripod mount threaded hole. Gives a flashing warning when battery is v low, and then powers off to protect the battery. A worthy part of the Bosch 12v professional range.

Arrivata nei tempi con un'imballaggio consono al prodotto. All'interno del pacco amazon c'era la pila all'interno della sua confezione originale sigillata e ben protetta e con le istruzioni. Si é adattata perfettamente alla batteria da 12v (non in dotazione) che avevo già in uso su altri prodotti Bosch. La luce é sufficiente se proiettata in una stanza, potentissima se la si usa per illuminare una zona di lavoro "nel dettaglio", che secondo me é lo scopo principale di questo prodotto date le dimensioni tutto sommato ridotte che gli conferiscono la possibilità di infilarsi in zone a spazio limitato. Ha due livelli di luminosità che si selezionano tenendo premuto il tasto di accensione, quando la luce resta sul modo di illuminazione meno intenso significa che la batteria ha una durata limitata, comunque garantisce una ottima durata a livello max. Il prodotto é ottimamente rifinito robusto e di qualità. Estremamente versatile ha un sistema di ancoraggio un sistema a moschetto che fa anche da piedistallo orientabile e una potente calamita.

Es una linterna de uso profesional espectacular. Y como no podía ser de otra manera, con una calidad Bosch. Desde que la compre la uso de continuo y ya no uso otra linterna. Su imán la hace que la puedas colocar en cualquier sitio metálico y te ilumina la zona de trabajo de una forma espectacular. De echo, la tengo puesta en la puerta de la furgoneta, imantada en la puerta, para una rápida utilización. No se suelta, el imán es fuerte. El precio puede parecer caro, pero como se usan baterías de la familia Bosch de 10.8v o 12v no tienes la necesidad de tener una batería exclusiva de ella y al final para mi, a sido rentable la compra por las veces que la uso para trabajar. Si la pierdo, cosa que espero que no, me compraría otra inmediatamente.
