Philips 12499VPB2 P21/5W VisionPlus 12V

Bought these to replace some cheap / unbranded bulbs from a well known motor and cycle shop. Nicely made with well shaped contacts which made easy fitting. Good and bright in the DRL unlike cheap bulbs ( one of which failed within a week).

As expected, Phillips produce a good quality electrical product. Nice and bright on the day running lights

Bought for my Nissan Note E11 (2007) 1.4l petrol. They fit, they work, they look suitably bright.

The oem type quality of these lights alone warrant such a favorable rating. I've ordered dozens of lights through Amazon for various applications and these by far have the best look of quality. Installation was a breeze and the lights are much brighter than oem. I've installed them as fog lights in my 05 Passat. They do not run hotter than oem, which some VW fanboys have said would happen. In turn my fog light housings are not melting, which said fanboys said would occur. I am also not receiving any error/VAGCOM codes. The lights have been working for a very long time now, look like high end oem 4000k hyper white, do not offend fellow motorists and have improved visibility tremendously.

These are much better, and longer lasting than the equivalent/similar sylvania model which only seem to last just 5 months. These Philips VisionPlus bulbs usually last me 9 months to a year or more, and they throw a good amount of bright, white light that lights up the road very nicely! They may not be as bright as HID bulbs, but I can't stand that kind of painful light coming at me from other cars, so I don't want to do that to others either. But these are very good, last the longest in their class, and a decent value. I have been buying them for my '01 Honda CR-V for a several years on & off, but when I couldn't find them one time in my local auto parts stores, I ended up buying the sylvania equivalents like I did years ago, and once again all I got out of those was about 5 months! But one thing I found out over the years overall is that the brighter the bulb, the shorter their life is...at least when it comes to hologen headlamp bulbs. But the Philips bulbs seem to last the longest.
