Good book

Lots and lots of pictures, clear instructions, ideal for beginners, but also for the more advanced, like me. I was pleased to see that it has many projects and techniques using wire and metal, which interest me the most. Beading techniques are only mentioned in a small chapter at the beginning, so if you are mostly interested in beads, stringing and beadweaving try the "Compendium of Beading Technniques" by Jean Power. To sum up, I find this book very useful and I will be using it a lot.

Great book, lots of useful guidance for beginners and lovely photos.

First half of the book was very useful but the second part was about metal work and making clay beads etc and I'm a bead and wire crafter. That said, if you are interested then this is an excellent guide

FANTASTIC book! I've been making jewellery for 15 years, I'm ten pages in and I've learned 2 techniques already!! I agree with other reviewers, that it may not be suitable for complete beginners, mainly because it's packed full of ideas, so it would be hard to sift through. There are plenty of beginner books for beading /wire work etc out there. Huge thanks to the Authors, I can't believe I bought this book for less than a tenner! Steph

Brilliant entry level book.My daughter,having had two jewellery taster sessions, was delighted with this. It takes you from novice to the more complex techniques that lay beyond, in well laid out and understandable steps.

It's only really suitable for beginners, good book, but definitely not for more experienced makers unfortunately, I'm not an expert in making, but there's not one technique in this book I haven't already learnt, this is the problem with books online, you can't see if they're suitable
