Surprisingly Effective – Brought My Car Back to Life!
I was skeptical at first, but this STP DPF Cleaner really impressed me. I used it on my 2016 BMW 320d which was starting to feel sluggish and occasionally throwing up a DPF warning light. After adding the full 200ml bottle to a full tank and going for a steady motorway drive, I noticed a clear difference after just one treatment. The engine feels smoother, acceleration has noticeably improved, and the DPF warning hasn’t come back since. It genuinely feels like the car is breathing easier now. I also appreciate that it’s made in the UK – gives me confidence in the quality. If your diesel car is showing early signs of DPF clogging or just isn’t performing like it used to, this is a simple and affordable solution before jumping into expensive garage visits. I’ll definitely be using this regularly as part of my maintenance routine. Highly recommend!

Good quality
Good quality and appears to do the trick.

DPF solution.
I trued this to my usually DPF cleaner additive from Halfords & as far as I can tell it did the job. Unless you do 300 plus miles a week, any diesel will clog up the filters on the urban grind. I travelled up Nirth recently after putting this into my tank & the performance seemed better & it's a fair price.

Works well and stops DPF light appearing
Had the DPF light appear as I do a few short trips to work. Ended up disappearing after I followed the manual and went for a 30 minute drive with average speed of 45mph+, but thought it best buy this too to make sure the DPF gets cleaned through. However, it’s not a miracle cure so if you’ve neglected your DPF then don’t expect it to unblock years of soot buildup. Haven’t had the warning light return since and I’ve done a lot of short trips! Easy to pop in with a tank of fuel and seems very good value. Will buy again

Ok
Bought 2 bottles of this to try clear my DPF fault light with no luck. The drive didn’t improve and still felt sluggish as if dpf was still blocked. A forced regen and fixed the light and this was still in the tank so may have helped clear it but can’t be certain… I’d probably recommend using regularly before the dpf becomes blocked

Clear difference over 1 week-great product. Detailed stats in my review if you can read to the end!
I give this product 5 stars. Last year as our Peugeot 308 approached 100,000 miles the DPF warning light came on & after purchasing a diagnostic device (iCarSoft) we discovered it was blocked 91%. We paid £160 for a Terra Clean & regen which cleaned it out to zero. 15 months later the DPF is only 15% full of ash according to diagnostic device. Our car mostly does a lot of town driving with a drive of several hundred miles approx. twice a month. Since the Terra Clean we had no problems with the DPF until mid August when the DPF would come on constantly. I realized from mid July to mid August we had no motorway long drives and apparently the DPF had become blocked with soot, at any rate the DPF/ECU was not happy, despite the DPF being only 15% full. We were getting the same ‘risk of filter clogging’ warning. We changed the fuel filter, had an oil change and did two forced regens at a high rpm on quiet roads. Last Monday on a long drive the DPF warning came on a dozen times before the car finally regen’d on its own. We debated what to do & paying for an expensive assessment by our mechanic, wondering if the pressure or temperature sensors were bad. Midweek last week I ordered this product thinking its only £5 & worth a try, we added it to a half tank & went on a 2 hour motorway drive on Sunday. We did not attempt a forced regen at high rpms as the product advertises regen at lower temperatures, and I wanted to see if the car would regen on its own. Plus forced regens are hard on your oil. We kept the diagnostic on during the drive. Our car attempts a regen appox every 385 km. During motorway driving our pressure was 23-105 mbar when accelerating, & the DPF temp was 358-406 C. When idling temps were 228-247C. Two hours into the drive nothing had happened, as we were slowing down on a side road to a junction I saw the temps start to rise to 468C, quickly going to a max of 595C. Pressure was 18mbar. Realizing the car was regenerating (the diagnostic stated ‘regen status: active’ I told the driver to keep going despite reaching our destination! The regen took 6 minutes then temps quickly reduced to 288C. We had driven 520km since our last regen. Compared to just 7 days prior when the car had several failed attempted regenerations with the DPF light coming on 12x the difference was clear after using the particle filter cleaner. It was fantastic not to have the DPF warning light coming on & our car seems to have reverted to its previous healthy self. We refuelled & have put another bottle in the tank & will see what happens in the next few weeks, but I’m a believer in this product! Plus clearly a diesel is not happy with one month of town driving. It is crazy to me that cars provide no notification when a regen is occurring, as surely failed/incomplete regens are the reason for DPF failure. I also can’t recommend the iCarSoft diagnostic device enough, it provides a ton of information & helps shed some light on the mysteries of diesel engines & DPF’s. Final note: our MOT this week noted zero parts per million emissions from our diesel which makes me very happy. DPFs are a PITA but if they keep the air clean I’m all for it. Hope this review helps someone.

good
do not know if this helps, but having had to have the DPF cleared on our Skoda diesel, which was expensive, we are hoping that using this every few months will prevent it clogging up again

Very greatful product.. my ford Ecosport diesel BS6 becomes sluggish having low pickup becoz of dpf choke .. After pouring one stp dpf cleaner bottle in full tank then running car about 400 to 500km the filter got cleaned and the pick -up and power which i hv lost reversed. We just hv to wait for atleast 400kms after pouring it. Happy with the product.
