This device saved my life and whole load of stress. As many currently are doing, I work from home on a laptop, setup to connect securely to my works computer network. As a Quality Analyst, I require the use of headphones and sound card to listen to agent calls as the primary task. Then to my horror, the sound card or sound chip built in to the laptop motherboard, stopped working. Windows 10 was less than useless as ever at giving any indication of this, it kept saying it was not plugged in, which of course was not the issue. Anyway, I was in a real dilemma and thought I would perform a quick search on Amazon to see if there were any solutions, and I found this external USB sound card. I was dubious I have to say that this would work or that it was even a sound card itself, I thought it would end up being an adapter to plug in headphones or speakers but not fix the problem. I was wrong, it plugged in, Windows immediately detected it as a USB sound device, it was working in seconds perfectly, replacing my onboard sound device. This product is of high quality, great sound quality and has bot a line out for speakers or headphone and a line in for a microphone if you require it. Excellent and thank you for saving my life!!

Sabrent are on to a winner with these, they're superb little devices. The headphone output is clean and free of unwanted noise and usage requires no additional drivers. The microphone input is similarly good quality and provides a good +5 Volts to energise mic capsules, meaning you can happily use this with a ModMic (as I do). No nonsense involving psychoacoustic "3D surround sound" nonsense, no bullshit features or unnecessary design - this is a simple 2x2 USB audio interface, and it's very well engineered. Its small profile means you can use it almost anywhere without blocking other USB ports. It can be a snug fit sometimes to connect a USB cable in an adjacent port, as the width of the black part is on the edge of acceptable, but you can make it work. I use one of these on my main PC. Despite it having a premium Asus gaming motherboard, its onboard sound chipset - and the poor circuit design - causes loads of EM interfaces. £6.99 later, a Sabrent gives me excellent quality sound output almost indistinguishable from a much more expensive audio interface I use for music production. I also use a Sabrent on my work laptop and again, It Just Works. Inarguably useful. They're not indestructible, but they are very well made. Recently, someone managed to BEND one of mine by dragging a heavy table past my PC, and the table leg snagged against the Sabrent plugged into it. Remarkably, despite now looking quite broken, both headphone and microphone still worked. (I've since retired the broken adapter to the WEEE skip in the sky). If you use a ModMic, or a headset mic with a powered capsule, buy one of these. Antlion Audio manufacture their own branded equivalent of these, but it's vastly more expensive and frankly, probably identical in quality.

I bough this to improve the analogue sound on my Raspberry Pi / Kodi player. When playing audio (music / radio), the Pi plays through the 3.5mm jack to my hifi system. However, the Pi analogue sound comes with lots of pops and clicks. This USB sound device provides an cheap and easy fix. Just plug it in to the Pi, and use the headphone out instead of the Pi 3.5mm jack. Great sound, no clicks and pops. There are a couple of cons though: This device is wide so it blocks adjacent sockets on the Pi (like RJ45 and USB). I can afford to lose a USB socket so not a problem for me otherwise you will need a fly lead. With LibreElec/Kodi the USB audio has to be manually selected in the system settings which turns off HDMI audio. When switching between audio and video, I have to change the system settings to get the audio to the correct device. I can't comment on durability yet.

Overview: I bought this to work with the Neewer NW-700 . I bought that a few days ago and had it plugged into a 2009 iMac. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t pick up decent sound volume from the microphone when it was plugged into the headphone jack or into the line in jack. • The description details how its driverless requiring no extra software. • It was also listed as often bought with the NW-700. • Finally it lists as working with Mac so I thought I would take a punt and try it. Disclaimer: I don’t know what I’m doing, I really don’t! Hopefully if you don’t know what you’re doing either, then this review helps! Packaging: As in the pictures, a very simple package with some instructions, a thick foam mount to hold the adapter in and thats about it. First Impressions: There really isn't much to it. It seems well made, with no obvious marks, scratches or weaknesses. Overall it looks nicely designed and well thought out with the different colours providing clear indication of what each port is. Use: The instructions cover it but it really is simple, plug in and then attach either microphone, headphones or both into their respective ports. It was picked up by the Mac instantly and since plugging it in, I have a decent sound input and the NW-700 works brilliant. The last photo shows it appearing as a USB audio device. I still sound like an idiot though unforetunately! Longevity: Its a USB plug, and its going to be left in for a while. It shouldn't fail and I'd be quite annoyed if it did. However, if it does fail in a short period then it also has the option to register for a 2 year warranty. I've done this just to make sure. If it does fail, as always I will update this review. Compré este adaptador porque mi puerto de auriculares dejó de funcionar y necesitaba una solución rápida. La instalación es plug & play, lo conectas y en segundos está listo sin necesidad de instalar drivers. El sonido es claro y sin interferencias, tanto para auriculares como para el micrófono. Lo he probado en Windows y en PS4, y en ambos ha funcionado sin problemas. Además, la construcción es robusta y no da sensación de ser un producto frágil. Si tienes problemas con la entrada de audio de tu PC o consola, este adaptador es una solución económica y efectiva. Muy recomendable.

Bence bu ürün kısa süreli. Eğer laptop kullanıyorsanız kesinlikle almayın. Çünkü diğer usb girişini net kapatıyor ve bence bu çok kötü. Bir süre sonra zaten kendiliğinden usb girişi yamulduğu için kullanmayı bıraktım ama baya götürdü.

Très bonne alternative si un problème survient sur votre carte son interne (connecteurs etc...). Fonctionne parfaitement, la mise en place est faite en quelques clics et est bien expliquée dans une petite documentation.
