An engaging and educational game. Perfect for a reception year child that has progressed from first sounds. My child follows the Read Write Inc programme at school, this Orchard game compliments the style of reading he is learning well.mostly it is fun and he also likes to sit and play on his own matching the sounds and reading the words. Usually high quality Orchard game. Great value for money and an ideal gift.

This is an upgrade from the previous box, is used for home teaching and proving very successful. Good quality pieces of suitable size, easy to grab and handle. There are not enough of the matching jigsaw-type pieces which seem to be favoured and would make the matching more interesting. The colours are bright enough but not garish and the pictures not too simplistic. The child finds it exciting and challenging at the same time, and a good introduction to the different sounds the letters can make. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great for having a short learning game with my 4 years old grandniece I said short game because after we spell out a couple of characters she wants to play a more exciting game but this is enough to help her progress slowly and i think it is a great start for her to learn letters and the difference letter sounds make when 2 letters are put together eg a + i ai as the letter tabs have some of these

I purchased this product for my 4 year old. My 4 year old has solid foundations and is currently reading oxford reading tree level 3 however i felt this was a great proficiency tool and visual aid. The product itself is very durable and high quality each boArd is double sided, were you have the word on the front for children to use there visual discrimination skills to find the corresponding letter, on the back you have blank spaces for the child to try and spell the word a picture is included also.I would definitely recommend. The product comes with a helpful instruction manual included within is website links to make your own words to match and spell free templates you can download aswell as colouring sheets, recipes etc all free downloadables. we love this product

Ho acquistato molte cose della Orchard. Sono certamente ben fatte e danno la possibilità di ampliare le varie situazioni didattiche. Con questo Match and Spell invece, è andata un pò peggio. Ci sono pochissime parole, forse troppo semplici e non c'è un gran margine di versatilità. Lo utilizzo sempre volentieri, ma non ha rispecchiato proprio del tutto le mie aspettative. Avrei preferito più pezzi, più parole ed anche più versatilità.
