Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Pack, 0.15 oz, 4-Piece

I don't get along with lipsticks. They always seem to me to be "too much", as I keep my makeup to a minimum. Bought this lip balm in "red dahlia" and was pleasantly surprised. The packaging is lovely (if a bit ott...a small lip balm inside 3 different packages). The balm itself is nice and soft, goes on very smoothly, and the colour is wonderful. It's just a hint of red really,and looks very natural on my lips (I'm a brunette with light-medium skin). It is exactly what I was looking for, as it leaves my lips looking natural but more beautiful :) Will definitely use it daily!

I bought this for my best friend and she loves it. It's just pigmented enough to give you a pop of subtle colour and also make your lips feel super soft. You can never go wrong with Burt's Bees and this is a great price as well! Definitely recommend to those who want a subtle colour on the lips along with moisture and protection.

Still waiting for this product but used in the past and all burts bees products are good and all smell lovely and feel great. They have a great choice of colours and I think a nice range. They always help my lips I've got quite a few. They also make a lovely gift. Plus it's natural so even better.

Have bought loads of Burts Bees off Amazon. Never had a problem. Always carefully delivered and on time. The lip balm is lovely and lasts ages. The peppermint makes it tingle a little, but not unpleasant

This is a gorgeous colour but not quite what I was expecting - it's really a very subtle, gentle tint. I bought this shade because it was the darkest of these tinted lip balms, but even so, it's practically neutral on my lips. A few things worth mentioning here. First of all, although it's not exactly cheap for tinted lip balm, this is a really high quality product. The packaging is gorgeous! I felt all special and spoilt as I opened the tube that the lipbalm came in. And it would make a really lovely gift or stocking stuffer. This tinted lip balm doesn't have the typical 'Burt's Bees' minty taste - it's more of a sweet, floral, almost bubble-gummy flavour. I really liked it actually but think it might be worth mentioning so you don't assume it's the same as their normal lip balm. And the texture is different, a bit thicker (but not sticky). All in all, a really lovely tinted lip balm. I have ordered two more - one in Hibiscus and one in Rose - as well as this shade in Red Dahlia. Once I'd got my head around the fact that it's a very subtle tint, I decided that I really liked it a lot. It won't replace lipstick and it's not quite as dark a tint as I'd prefer, but is great for a natural look.

This balm is great for two reasons: 1) it moisturises lips 2) it works like a lipstick I tend to have very dry lips and all balms of Burt's Bees work like a charm. However I wanted to add some color to my lips. When I use any traditional lipstick I always have to apply balm first. This tinted balm saves me time and effort. It's a really great product that I recommend to anyone.

Lovely subtle colour and light fragrance. Product glides on well and lasts a long time. I loved this lip balm, like others have said it is a more sheer colour but I like this effect as it means I can wear it everyday at work without looking overly made-up (I'm a nurse). If you're looking for a product with a deep colour you would be better off with an actual lipstick. For a lip balm this is feels nice and moisturising on the lips I like the fact that burts bees use natural ingredients in their products. I own two of these lips balms and would recommend them for people who want subtle or natural colour whilst caring for their lips. They are a little expensive for a lip balm but they come nicely packaged so could be given as a gift for someone who likes burts bees products.

As an avid lip balm used, I used to constantly be applying other lip balm, and if I didn’t my lips with be sore and cracked. I love Burts bees as I now only apply 2 or 3 times in 24hrs, tingaly feeling is something to get used to but it just means blood is being drawn to you lips. I also notice that my lips go to a very pretty natural pink shade after a day or 2 of using, it’s just a healthy lip glow!!

Although vaseline is the more affordable, simpler version to moisturise your lips, I adore Burt's Bees Lip Balms, vitamin e and peppermint being one of my favourites. This is cheaper (in Aus at least) than from any chemist (inc. chemist warehouse) (chemists sell it individually, 4 - 6 each) If you know you like Burt's Bees and plan to use many more, I suggest you buy this 4 pack (I used 1 lipbalm in more or less a year, but these have long expiry dates) But let's say you didn't like Burt's Bees. Well then, please understand that this lipbalm is natural and (I think?) healthy. The reason I would not use vaseline (plain petroleum gel) is because it is not very convenient, but I do suggest using vaseline overnight and this lighter lipbalm during the day. The different flavours are extremely fun to use (coconut and pear is amazing too!) but the original vitamin e and peppermint is definitely an essential.

Best scent, just a little cooling but not a lot of flavour that could affect eating/drinking. Not too heavy or oily, but not so light that it needs constant reapplying. I can’t live without Burt’s Bees!

Der erste Pflegestift, der (bei längerem Gebrauch) nicht unangenehm auffällt UND pflegt! Ich habe sehr empfindliche Lippen, zeigt sich unter anderem dadurch, dass ich spätestens nach einer halben Stunde nach auftragen eines Pflege-/Lippenstift ein Jucken und Brennen auf meinen Lippen spüre, dadurch den Pflege-/Lippenstift entfernen muss, und überhaupt nichts mehr auf meinem Mund vertrage. Dies ist der erste Pflegestift, denn ich nun schon eine Woche täglich mehrmals auftrage, ohne auch nur irgendwas negatives zu verspüren. Meine Lippen sind ganz weich, keine Risse, keine Trockenheit mehr. Ich bin rundum zufrieden! Bezüglich der Farbe - sie ist selbstverständlich nicht so intensiv wie aussieht. Aber ich bemerke einen sehr deutlichen Unterschied bei 'Red Dahlia,' außerdem wird die Farbe umso intensiver, je mehr man sich auf die Lippen aufträgt. Sprich, wem es um die Farbe geht - nach "4-5 mal hin- und herschmieren" gleicht der Farbton mindestens einem dezenten Lippenstift. Alltagstauglich, und trotzdem nicht fad. Eine sehr schöne Farbe. Sobald der hier verbraucht ist (bei meinem mehrmaligen täglichen Gebrauch schätze ich in etwa 3 Monaten), werde ich ihn garantiert nachkaufen. Kann ihn reinen Gewissens weiterempfehlen :)
