Good socks, husband says they are comfortable. They do not squeeze above the ankle too much, well-balanced, they won't go down, and they do not stop blood coming into his legs. I found the material very nice to touch. Looks like good quality, good value for price.

I paid £8.68 for a pack of ten pairs of these socks about two years ago. I still have a few survivors, but most have developed holes in the heels and have had to be binned. To be fair, they’ve been comfortable and reasonably durable, but my stock has now reached the “emergency laundry cycle” stage. Not wanting to spend any meaningful time researching the sock market — life is short — I decided to buy the same again, although this time I was feeling adventurous and went for Navy instead of Charcoal. The price has crept up to £9.49, which is an increase of 81p, or about 9.3%. Absolutely shocking, but here we are. In terms of the actual fit, they are spot on for a size 10; they stay up reliably and don't suffer from that annoying habit of sliding down into the shoe. They are on the thin side, so they're perfectly suited for spring and summer use, and I’ve never found them to be particularly sweaty except in a total heatwave. I know you’ve been thoroughly gripped by this tale of hosiery and fiscal analysis, so I’ll keep you in suspense no longer: I haven’t actually tried the Navy ones yet, but I promise to update you in two years’ time on how this latest batch performs.

I bet you think, I can't do a detailed review on socks.... challenge accepted.. and why are you writing this on Christmas day? Everyone is asleep and I'm waiting to unwrap some presents! On to the review! As the world was in Lockdown and some of us couldn't work from home.... we all had a few wishes our loved ones safety and I want to go back to work. (Or was that just me?) July I was allowed back, all my clothing was tighter or uncomfortable to wear, I blame the endless supply of food. As I have to walk 3 miles daily between work and home, some new socks were dearly needed. I found these very quick and I thought the price was perfect for the quantity. They arrived with several other items in perfect timing, packaged nice secure and safe from the elements. First inspections, all of the socks looked in good order, no tears or holes to be found and only one that had a little fraying. The first wear, they felt like.... socks haha. No they was the right amount of tight, very thin material to be honest, I could see my foot tattoos through them haha. If it was winter (as of the first wear) it wouldn't give you any protection against the cold. The material is good for the summer as it allows your feet to breathe. Nobody wants a sticky, sweaty set of feet after a long day at work right? After the first month at least half of them were torn, had a large hole or were beyond wearing. One at the big toe area and the rest at the back. Nothing more annoying than playing peekaboo with your big toe when you switch to your work shoes. I do not have long or sharp nails, neither do the backs of my shoes have anything sharp to snag the socks. The material is very thin, and just wore out over the time of wearing them, which is a shame. I'm now at winter and I have one intact pair. These have to be the sock with the least longevity I have owned. Though looking at the title Dress shoes, maybe they are not designed for the 3 miles daily walk? Either way. I would post a picture for the review, but I will not post my feet to the internet, some people enjoy that! Honestly no judgment here, we have our things we love! But no feet pics for you today! Do I recommend? Probably not, I'm sorry, just not suitable for what I would consider a standard work say for many. All the best to you all and Merry Christmas.

Great heatwave socks or for being outside on hot summers day..but they are about as thick as two pairs of womens tights.

I purchased these socks because I was on a budget and it equaled 1 pair of socks for 1$. These socks are absolutely perfect, soft, breathable and extremely comfortable. Im not one who likes to wear socks all day but I could wear these with all day with no problem. Much respect to JR London they make an excellent product at a very affordable price, I prefer these over the big brand socks I have. 10/10 will purchase again!
