Targus Laptop Backpack, Lightweight with 32L Capacity, Multi-pocket

This is a good quality backpack. It can be used to transport laptop and associated bits around, but you could also use it for a daily use without a laptop. If you store a laptop in it, I like the fact that there is an extra padded envelope inside for keeping the precious laptop away for the other accessories which feels more secure. The backpack itself is comfortable to carry around on the daily commute, but I could also imagine using it if I was on holiday and wanted to carry my stuff during the day. There is plenty of room for a day, but it would struggle to hold enough for a week of travelling because it is only 20L of space. There are multiple pockets for keeping stuff separate. I keep my train pass in one pocket and my charger etc in another, so that when I need a particular thing I know where to find it. I have had mine for several months and it still looks like new. Therefore I would say it is hardwearing and good quality. It is fabric but I have not seen any water ingress so it seems to handle the rainy days ok. I would recommend for the daily commute.

I have been using exactly this backpack for at least 10 years and while it hasn't broken down it felt slightly old and tired but through all that time I was really happy with Targus product. I have travelled for work basically every week and it kept my laptop safe through all these years. Now after couple of months with this one I can say that all the positives stayed the same - proper quality, great materials, good designs with many compartments and it feels sturdy. Hopefully will last another 10 years. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic product, good quality and lots of space

Firstly I will start by saying, fantastic value for money!!! I bought this Laptop bag as a first year student earning a modest wage and I am very satisfied with my purchase. The bag has served me well daily, despite the fact that I carry around 10kg as a regular everyday carry as it must last me a full day at University and then at work. I have had no comfort issues with the bag, though I would recommend that you pack your laptop so that it lays flat against your back, to avoid odd bulges. Pros: Plenty of storage space for an everyday study or work bag(I carry: 15.5" Laptop/Charger, Ring Binder, Several A4 Wallets, 2/3 books, stationery, Phone Charger/other tech items, fleece, waterproof, water, deodorant, with space for more...); comfortable carry; there are enough compartments for easy organisation allowing for quick access to items; build quality is solid; professional, simple design. Cons: Laptop protection comes in the form of a rather flimsy padded insert. When you remove the laptop, the contents of the bag sag down and this makes it harder to re-insert the laptop in a hurry (ie. getting on/off trains, moving between lectures); Side pouches are slightly too small to take a 500ml water bottle or vacuum flask, a combo I would carry if they were slightly larger; despite good stitching and resistance to wear and tear (I have been using the bag heavily for over a month with no apparent wear while heavily packed) the materials used do seem to look and feel a bit tacky, I would therefore not recommend the bag to a professional to whom image is important.

Bought for work, lots of handy pockets, looks professional and seems sturdy and well made. Good value, and I like that is has a strap on the back to attach to a trolley bag handle.

This was one of the best buys I've done in Amazon! I've always been a fan of Targus, my other laptop shoulder bag is Targus too, but this one excels! The padding makes it very comfortable to wear and the included sleeve shields the laptop pretty well! It also has a ton of extra space for other things! There's a pocket on the main compartment for documents, two side compartments for small things (I like to use one for snacks and the other for my sunglasses), a pocket for a bottle of water (although it doesn't work that well if you have something in the compartment), a small compartment at the back for more small things and finally a compartment with some pockets for important stuff, some pen holders, etc. The material seems to be of high quality and water resistant! It's also perfect for small business trips because you can put the laptop and cables in the main compartment along with a change of clothes or two. Then you can keep chargers, earbuds, keys, etc in the small pocket, snacks and water on the side pockets. And finally you can put some important documents in the pockets inside the medium compartment, along with a book to read on the trip!

I have amended my repeat and the number of stars because the one I bought in February already has 2 broken zippers. Not sure if I just got a faulty one or the quality of the product has decreased, but I am not as happy as I was with my previous same model . I had one of these for 3 years - took it everywhere, work and not work, carried SO much stuff with it : shopping, kids paraphernalia, took it to the beach, mountain, pretty much any means of transpo .. sturdy and utilitarian. year 4, zipper broke because i have 2 left hands really..so i bought the same one new again. I for one love it.

Hallo, ich brauchte ein neues Notebook als PC Ersatz. Mein alter Eee PC hatte den Geist aufgegeben, wo ich einen sehr guten Rucksack für diesen hatte. Leider war das Notebook 2cm zu breit für den alten Rucksack. Daher Suche nach einen neuen Rucksack. In der Zeit wo fast keiner Geld im Überfluss hat, hatte ich nach einen relativ günstigen Rucksack. Da wurde ich auf den Targus Notebook Rucksack aufmerksam. Bestellt und war am nächsten Tag schon da. Vorteile des Rucksacks: - Kostenfaktor - Staufach für das Notebook kann aus dem Rucksack genommen werden - sehr viel Stauraum für zusätzliches Material - Material des Rucksacks weist Wasser leicht ab (z.B. bei Regen ist der Inhalt sehr gut geschützt) Nachteil des Rucksacks - der Verschluss klemmte, bis ich selber ein wenig nachgeholfen habe (Öl) Fazit: Ich kann den Targus Notebook Rucksack jeden weiter empfehlen, der nicht sehr viel Geld ausgeben will
