Doggies love it
I have bought this Libby's canned pumpkin before to give to my two terriers along with their raw food diet. This was a really good value purchase and my dogs continue to enjoy it added to their dinners. It is especially good if they ever get uspet stomachs, when just a good dessert spoonful instead of their usual meal really works to settle everything down perfectly. I usually divide each tin into smaller portions of a couple of spoonfuls popped into bags, and it freezes perfectly. This is actually described as Pure Pumpkin PIE FILLING in the listing but is infact just Pure Pumpkin so no worries that it's full of added sugar etc. It is really difficult to source and despite having to buy it through Amazon, this is actually cheaper than Tesco's advertise it (although I've never found it to buy locally at all) I am sure you could make a fabulous Pumpkin Pie with this lovely product and it certainly does taste delicious, but I've never made one myself.Maybe next time.

Libbys pumpkin has been my brand of choice for decades, because of the consistantly good quality.

Everything Pumpkin!
I love this pumpkin. I used to buy it when I lived in the U.S. I use it for pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice-cream, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin nut muffins. I prefer this plain pumpkin to the spiced pumpkin because I can add my own spices and increase some if I wish. Also, it is less expensive than the spiced pumpkin. There is a recipe on the can for pumpkin pie. It is simple to make and a very good recipe. I strongly recommend this product.

Great for dogs digestion
I buy it for my dogs, helps their digestion, they love the taste, really works. Last batch had about 3 slightly dented tins, and the consistency is a bit wet. Totally fine for dogs, but not sure would use for pies. Good value.

Yippee Pumpkin In a tin
So happy I was able to get this over in the UK it makes it so much easier than having to go through the hassle of cooking down a pumpkin to be able to make a pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread. I don’t understand why I cannot find it in the shops over here, but I am so grateful that I have it

Amazing!!!!!!!
Trying to find a food grade pumpkin in the UK outside of Halloween is nearly impossible! Even if I did, sometimes doing all the work of cutting, scraping, baking and preparing the pumpkin meat to cook with just takes too long. This way I have the pumpkin meat ready on hand and can use it in all the ways I want to. I've always used Libby's, so it is a brand I feel comfortable with. This pumpkin has no additional flavorings or spices in it (it is not the pumpkin pie filling).

A dogs dinner...literally.
My dog will eat his own faeces, given the chance! It's not something anyone likes to admit but it's much more common than you'd think and is considered 'normal'...by dogs anyway, lol. (The clinical term for it is 'Coprophagia' by the way). I put a dessertspoonful of this pure pumpkin on his (dry) food twice a day and it works. He obviously likes it too because he will lick the spoon! Funnily enough, there's a great recipe for pumpkin pie on the tin too! (Although it's a common grocery item in America, Amazon is the only place I have found where I can buy it here).

Superb for Dogs!
Excellent for my ill dog. Worked first day of using it , after my German Shepherd had terrible diarrhoea ( two heaped tablespoons ) mixed with half a tin of Naturo ( grain free dog food ) . Almost instantly made the stools soft but firm, and as he suffers from Anal Furunculosis, this helped him greatly. Highly recommended for dogs suffering with any kind of stomach or bowel problems. Will now be adding this daily to meals for both my Shepherds 😊 Top point though, it’s just £1 a tin buying direct from Sainsbury’s!!! 😉😉😉
