A.Vogel Echinaforce Echinacea Drops | Relieves Cold & Flu Symptoms by Supporting The Immune System (100 ml)

This is an excellent product and is especially effective when taken prior to exposure or immediately after. By that, anyone vulnerable, [Young, old or immunity compromised] is especially at risk because they are less out and about in the 'sea of infection' that is the general working population, [exception being young school children, who's immune system isn't as strong as it will ultimately become]. These are the people who especially need this product. WHY??? ANY person going out into public places especially using public transport, [crowded PT especially], who doesn't do this as a matter of routine eg., work, is liable to pick up an upper respiratory tract infection or other infectious virus and become unwell. If, knowing that they are going to be doing this, they start taking Echinacea 1-2 days before the exposure preferably, but also IMMEDIATELY after exposure, and continues for 5 - 7 days is very unlikely to develop an infection. This is because Echinacea strengthens the immune system and does it to such an extent that taken BEFORE exposure, the immune system is sufficiently enhanced to fight off infection immediately on exposure so the infection doesn't get a chance to develop. Even if taken within a short time after exposure to any viral infection it will usually have the same effect, but continued ongoing supplement as per instructions, [quoted above], is also necessary. No doubt similar for bacterial infections, but have not had experience with that. I NEVER travel into London without taking echinacea beforehand. I had found, after retirement, that I would end up 2/3 days after using the Tube to visit my son in London, that I would go down with an upper respiratory infection. I was always catching something going out into crowded places, mainly because our community has expanded greatly into a much more cosmopolitan mix, where pathogens not normally present in the UK are now in abundance and many people have no resistance to them. Worse for the groups above mentioned. An elderly Aunt who every winter had terrible bronchitis passed the information about Echinacea on to me as she'd not had a bout of bronchitis, since she started taking it 5 years before. I'm now well armed and also take it when family members succumb to a particularly nasty respiratory tract infection, running rampant through the school children AND parents and taking a long time to shake off. I DON'T CATCH ANYTHING; reason being that I take Echinacea at the first hint. When my Daughter takes it straight away she doesn't succumb either. My son in Law rarely catches anything, but he has travelled the world during his working life, maybe that helps. Finally this is an excellent price in comparison to High Street shops. I've been using Echinacea tincture for over 15 years and it has never failed to stop each cold in its tracks, usually within a few hours from its onset. The secret is, I believe, in the dosage and in using it at intervals. If you take 1 tsp every hour, your immune system will definitely kick in and attack the 'naughty critters' out there. Keep taking Echinacea during your wake hours and don't stop when you feel better but keep going for 2 more days. I haven't had a full developed cold for years and years. One tip: put your tincture in a spoon of boiling water, shake slightly and see the alcohol evaporate. Voila'! Now it's perfectly safe for those who are teetotal. If the taste is not great for you, simply add a bit of water and/or honey. As for oral hygiene, Echinacea is also astounding to be used added to your mouth wash if you have problems, or simply applied directly where you have an abscess, mixed with Bentonite Clay and 1 capsule Slippery Elm gruel. If Slippery Elm is not available, just use regular toothpaste. It will stick to the gums for a while. It will take care of the abscess in a few hours, drawing out toxins amazingly fast. The swelling decreases very quickly. I love it! A good source of Bentonite Clay is of course Dr. Schulze Intestinal Formula #2 - another fantastic product! As a Family Herbalist, I recommend this product but also realise that if we keep getting colds and infections, then a good detox and colon/liver cleanse will be a good start to automatically reduce the reoccurrence of many health problems.

Good stuff overall. I always feel it improves and reduces the affects of a cold. I think that you need to take more than it suggests and in which case it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped so the value for money isn't great.

My go to when I feel the start of any illness. This works to speed up the recovery time and process.

The bottle is a bigger size than what I usually get which is perfect. It's easy to use putting 15 drops in water. I use it when I have the first symptoms of a cold which usually stops a full cold starting. I'll definitely buy this again.

Llevo más de una década fiel a estas gotas y son un imprescindible en mi casa siempre tengo algún frasco de repuesto. Al ser alérgica a los antiinflamatorios. Me funciona de maravilla, especialmente cuando noto el primer picor de garganta o en épocas de mucho estrés cuando bajan las defensas. Es mano de santo y totalmente natural. Obviamente no sustituye a los medicamentos , pero si buscas algo natural que funcione de verdad sin químicos fuertes, esto a mi me ayuda.
