Set of 3 Basic Metal Files with Black Handles (5mm / 4.5mm / 2.5mm)

Great little set of files for removing mould lines and cleaning up leftover plastic cement from between connecting pieces. This does the more heavy duty plastic removal before moving on to high grit sanding sticks that can smooth the plastic out and make it look as if there was never a seam to begin with.

I used these files for filing the wheel arches on my hard body RC trail truck after I cut the fenders off to make room for bigger wheels. They are reasonably priced and a well known brand, worked great, comfy to hold for long periods of time. Would recommend getting yourself a set of your looking at files for models and RC

It's a file. It works. I washed it with water and it didn't get rusty. I am using it for filing plastic models mold fittings.

Bought these Tamiya set of files to use as was building a model and yes would definitely recommend them.

What else would you expect? It’s a Tamiya product, great quality and well packaged, just like all of their products. Always reliable! I own lots of Tamiya items and I’m sure I’ll keep buying more. You really can’t go wrong with them.

You cannot beat Tamiya for functionality. Superb files for the money.

Ich hab die Feilen als Ergänzung zu Schleifstäben und Schleifpapier bestellt um 3D Drucke nachbearbeiten zu können, also um Layer Lines und Scaring zu reduzieren. Dafür gefallen mir die Feilen sehr gut und ich bin Stand jetzt sehr zufrieden. Die Feilen sind erheblich kleiner als man denken könnte, liegen aber vor allem durch den gummierten Griff dennoch sicher in der Hand. Beim Grit würde ich sie irgendwo zwischen 400 und 600 einordnen, was für mich bei groben Problemen gut funktioniert. Das beste sind aber die kleinen, feinen Spitzen, mit denen ich jetzt endlich auch in Ecken komme, die mir zuvor unzugänglich waren. Wenn ihr Feilen fürs 3D Drucken sucht würde ich dieses Set absolut empfehlen. Für größere Flächen sind sie eher wenig geeignet, dafür braucht man andere Schleifmittel, aber immer wenns eng wird werden diese jetzt bei mir Anwendung finden.
