Excellent product
This pen has transformed the look of my bathroom tiles which now look white and gleaming, instead of the previous eyesore. I followed suggestions left by other reviewers when applying it, i.e. frequently shake the pen, don’t press too hard on the nib, tilt it as you do when writing with an ink pen, to encourage the product to flow. It’s really very good and a good price for such an effective product. One pen was enough for the job although I’d bought 2 to be sure. Highly recommend.

Works pretty great just be gentle with nib
After using it for a while ,I’m assuming the pen’s almost empty, all I had to do to get it to flow again properly was shake a few times and press down on some paper gently til it pooled very little and it was good to go. Was almost able to complete more than half my small shower. I only had to do 1 pass on the grout but more troublesome areas took at most 2-3 passes. My first time touching up grout and it was pretty darn easy.

If you want a quick visual fix, this is for you
My grouting has black bits and is an off colour, so I wanted to make it look a bit better. This isn’t a replacement for having the grouting replaced, but it makes my bathroom look a lot nicer. I’m skint right now and recovering from surgery so I can’t afford to change the bathroom or attempt it myself. But this made such a difference. It is easy to use, just like a pen. But make sure you don’t press too hard or too much comes out/ the nib can get damaged and that makes it less precise (similar to when you press a highlighter too hard). You dab it along the line like you’re colouring in, and then wipe the excess off the tile (if you’re messy like me and get a little on the tile). It seems to hold well, I’ve cleaned the bathroom and used the shower since and it hasn’t come off. I bought a couple of pens, one isn’t enough.

UniBond Grout Reviver Pen – A Convenient Quick Fix, but Not a Permanent Solution
The UniBond Grout Reviver Pen is a simple and easy-to-use product designed to refresh discolored grout, giving tiled surfaces a cleaner and brighter look. While it’s a handy tool for minor touch-ups, it may not be a long-term solution for heavily stained or deteriorated grout. Pros: ✅ Quick and Easy Application – The pen-style design makes it convenient to apply without the mess of traditional grout. ✅ Instant Brightening Effect – Works well on lightly stained or faded grout, providing a whiter and fresher appearance. ✅ No Strong Odor – Unlike some grout paints or sealers, this pen has minimal odor, making it more pleasant to use indoors. Cons: ❌ Not Ideal for Deep Stains or Heavy Wear – While effective for surface-level discoloration, it may not fully cover deeper stains or fix cracked/damaged grout. ❌ May Require Multiple Coats – Depending on the grout’s condition, more than one application may be needed for an even finish. ❌ Durability Varies – The effect is not long-lasting in high-moisture areas like showers, where it can fade over time. Verdict: A Handy Touch-Up Tool, but Not a Permanent Fix The UniBond Grout Reviver Pen is a useful, budget-friendly option for quickly refreshing grout in kitchens and bathrooms. However, for deep stains, worn-out grout, or long-term results, re-grouting or using a more durable grout paint might be a better choice. ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) – Good for quick fixes, but not a lasting solution for heavily stained grout.

Grout reviver pen is a complete joke & con.
This so called product, (The Unibond grout reviver pen) is the biggest load of rubbish & waste of money I have ever purchased, I consider myself as quite adept at DIY & enjoy taking on most jobs & after decorating my bathroom I realised that due to the condition of my tiles & grout being quite good I would try the aforementioned grout pen to spruce them up, (what a mistake that was to be). I followed the instructions to the letter which isn't rocket science, shake the pen, press the nib, ( but not too hard ) onto a piece of paper until the liquid is released, ( so far so good ) then gently squeeze ( but not too hard ) onto the grout & gently move along grout line, after doing five 6" tiles the nib split into what looked like frayed string & therefore wouldn't press back into the pen to release the grout liquid rendering it about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. I spent nearly £12 for 2 of these pathetic, useless, infuriating little pieces of rubbish & ended up actually scraping out & regrouting my tiles which I actually enjoyed doing a lot more than messing about with the aforementioned pile of junk. This is only my experience & my opinion but please be careful when thinking of buying this product, it's equally annoying as I've bought Unibond products in the past & never had a problem, 0 out of 10 & no stars for this one 👎

Handy pens for grout
I’ve had similar products before with little success but these pens are much better . The nib does fray but it still works and freshens the tiles perfectly

Before using make sure to follow instructions. Initially nib would be dry, you need to press against a hard surface, so that the nib goes in breaking the seal and the white paint fills up the nib and then you can start using it. Everytime you feel the nib is dry you need to repeat this step. 7ml is less and costly. Maybe better to buy a white paint and a small brush and repaint the Grout.
