Tamiya CVA Super-Mini Shock TT-02 4 TAM54753

I wasn’t thrilled at the idea of plastic shocks, but these are the only upgraded shocks my local spec class allows so I gave them a try. I am pleasantly surprised. They’re easy to assemble and they don’t seem to be leaking after a few track days. They cured the terrible pogo bouncing that you get with the factory non oil-filled dampers. I bought a second set for my other car and both handle great on carpet. The quality was better than expected. Definitely one of the best upgrades you can get for a TT02- consider it a must!

Aside from ball bearings, this is likely the single best upgrade you can make to the TT-02 chassis. What a complete transformation it has on handling and chassis poise. No more bouncing around! These shocks are high quality and easy to assemble. These also fix the monster truck ride height the TT-02 has out of the box. The chassis now sits level front to rear and the control arms now have limited and consistent droop.

I bought this product to replace the standard friction shocks that came with my Tamiya TT-02 car. They come disassembled with easy to follow instructions for to get them working at the optimum performance. They are made from with quality materials and fit perfectly onto the car. As far as the driving performance of them I am quite pleased. They make the car much smoother over uneven surfaces than the friction shocks and have improved the handling of the car. I definitely recommend these for any first time upgraders that are looking for an inexpensive yet highly effective upgrade.

I have tried for years to buy cheaper aftermarket dampers for my Tamiya cars. I always end up coming back to these. Even though they are plastic, they are just engineered well and work with every Tamiya car out there.

The best price I've found. It comes with everything you need. Much better than the friction shocks the tt02 came with. The car now glides over the street instead of skipping and hopping. Easy to assemble when you have the right tools and follow the instructions.

es ist die günstigste Lösung um ein TT02 Chassis fahrbar zu machen bzw. abzustimmen und sind genauso wie Kugellager Pflicht. Vorne die harten Baukastenfedern mit Ausfederwegbegrenzung und Dämpferkolben mit einer Bohrung und hinten die mitgelieferten weichen Federn mit Dämpferkolben mit drei Bohrungen, damit bekommt man mit dem soften Dämpferöl schon mal eine brauchbare Abstimmung hin und das Fahrzeug liegt auch mit erheblich stärkeren Motoren satt auf der Straße

Whoever stole the Tamiya shocks from the package and returned these junk shocks probably really likes them. Big thank you to Amazon for sending more garbage that I have to return.

These are good little CVA oil filled shocks / dampers for Tamiya cars. Although designed for the TT02 chassis, they're also the right ones for my MF01X chassis. They do recommend getting a couple of hex-headed ball joints, however I found a much better work around using a longer 3mm bolt and moving both spacers in my chassis onto the rear bottom arm. The only reason to drop 1 star relates to the springs being shorter than the shocks. The CVA shocks on my TT02B buggy have springs that sit tight on the shock, however these medium springs are designed shorter and firmer, so there's as much support in use, however you don't get as much bounce as you'd get with longer springs. To compensate for this, you have to fit the spacer pieces at the top. I've put all 3 on the back and the 2 larger ones on the front, which seems to have given my MF01X chassis a good balanced level of dampering all round. I've just taken these out to test on my car and I'm really pleased with how it handles. They absorb bumps well and the car drives perfectly.

昔購入したラジコンはオイルダンパーが 付属していたが、最近購入したラジコンに付属してたのはスプリングサスだったのでこちらを購入。やはり全然走りが違う。素人でもわかるレベルで全然違う。小さな段差でぴょんぴょん跳ねていたおもちゃのような車がしっかりとしたリアルな動きに変わります。組み立ても基本的には簡単ですが、ＥリングやＯリングを予め小さな入れ物にオイルを入れ浸しておくとその後のエア抜きが楽です。自分はフィルムケースの蓋を使いました。Ｅリングは2個予備があります。それ以外の部品に予備はないので紛失注意です。車体への取り付け時には六角レンチが必要で付属していません。この商品を購入するレベルの人なら不要とのメーカー判断でしょう。中に封入するオイルは半分程度余ります。1回ワンセット組み直すオーバーホールも出来るのはポイント高いですね。セッティング用のパーツも付属してるので、色々と微調整な組み合わせを楽しめそうです。
