Only half the string connects to the app after a rain storm. The last half 6 bulbs just continues to blink. Researched this problem and I found out this is common. Bummed since I own 3 strings to complete my house. For $100 I would think it would work longer than 10 months. UPDATE: contacted customer service (very easy) via email and within 3 hours I was emailed back. They sent me 2 additional light switches to swap out (free). Unfortunately, this did not work. I emailed the company back and they sent me a replacement set at no cost to me. The company stood by their product. Customer service was responsive and easy to work with. Changing my rating to 5 stars. Product failed but the company did the right thing.

I've had these lights for a while now. They're durable and work well. My biggest complaint? SET THEM SO THAT THEY WORK ON 5 GHZ!!! I have a dual band mesh wifi setup and there's no way to turn off the 5 GHz channel. It makes it a REAL pain to install. Come on Atomi! It's the 21st century and 5 GHz has been around for quite a while now.

I bought one set of these, which worked perfectly for a year. Then, suddenly, the lights registered as "offline" in the app. They were hanging up, in place, and I wasn't about to take them down to troubleshoot, so I just turned them on and off manually. Without being able to use the app to control the lights, you're stuck with only a few pre-set colors/combinations. I was gifted a second set of Atomi lights. This new set refused to connect to my network, no matter how I tried. I even went so far as to purchase a stand-alone, single band, 2.4ghz wifi access point. Nothing worked. Atomi tech support responded to a ticket by asking me what step I was stuck on, despite describing exactly what step was failing during set up. I gave up. They're nice if they work, but getting that far is proving to be not worth the money. The average consumer isn't going to want to troubleshoot their wi-fi connection to the point of learning the difference between "wi-fi 5" and "wi-fi 6" or how WAP2-SDK security affects the possibility of getting the product to function as intended. They're going to want something that just works, as described. Either I just got two bad sets of lights in a row, or the product needs a re-work.

They work great for a few months, then we start having problems. They lose connectivity to the router; one or two bulbs on a string start flashing their own colors even when the rest are turned off or set to a different color. Overall, OK. Not great, just OK. And that’s on two of the three strands I bought, one even being a replacement for the other.

can be a bit hard to sync to app but once done they work perfectly
