Great Assistive Technology
First you need to know I am quadriplegic with partial mobility in my arms. I try to do as much for myself as I can. The number one thing I hate is dropping things on the floor. Once it’s there I either have to spend a really long time being extremely creative (I have managed to get some important things off the floor, like my phone, but it’s exhausting) or I have to ask for help.My office always has random things I or my 1 year old has dropped, usually garbage, which just makes me look like a slob (and feel like one). Solution: MeBo 2.0. I just took him for his first drive and I spent about two hours (yes, the battery lasted that long and I was only driving around picking up stuff) and my office floor is almost completely clean.I can tell you, cleaning up after myself without needing help from anybody else is a really good feeling I have not really had in... almost 20 years. Well that thought just brought a tear to my eye. Thanks Sky Viper! There are a few reasons why I’m only giving 4 stars.1. The ALMOST clean office floor. The description specifically mentions sending MeBo to get you a drink. I have a 16 oz. water bottle on the floor. MeBo had it in his clutches and he just couldn’t pick it up. If I didn’t drop so many water bottles on the floor it probably wouldn’t be as big of a deal.2. It would be much better for me if the battery was an incorporated part of MeBo and I could just plug in a micro USB to charge it. It’s a lithium ion battery. By the time it will no longer hold a charge, I’m going to be ready for the upgrade anyway. As is, I’ll probably need help. It could be okay this way if the charging cord were longer.3. MeBo is jumpy. When your trying to pick things up, you need precision. A simple torque slide option in the app to slow MeBo down would be a great addition.4. A second camera in the center of the claw would be excellent for helping grab things when MeBo is out of sight. Now, critiques/wished enhancements out of the way, I did pick up: the Roku remote (very important 😉) Bottle caps (and put in the garbage can) Random garbage (and put in the garbage can) Instructions for something else and put back in the box My daughter’s school work and stacked on top of the pile on the bookcase. My one year old’s board book and put away.I could not have done any of that on my own. MeBo is a definite increase in my level of independence and I’m extremely satisfied. 😁And if you are still reading and curious:Q: What happens if I drop my phone on the floor? No app, no MeBo, right!?A: I also have a tablet. 😁 I’m always carrying backup!Q: What if I drop my tablet???A: Darth Vader said that best, “Nooooooooooo!” I could not resist, because that’s pretty accurate. However, my tablet has a case on it that also has a shoulder strap clipped to it. When I have the tablet, that strap is around my neck and it’s nearly impossible for me to drop it. Also, that same strap is the only way I can pick up and put away the tablet.Q: How do I get MeBo on and off the floor?A: I loop a lanyard around MeBo’s neck and viola: he has a quadriplegic friendly handle.Any more curious questions?Now... to work on plugging in this battery so I can surprise my son in the morning... 🤣

Quality Robot
A gift for my 11 year old nephew. He seemed to like it but I might have liked it more than he did. Easy to download the required app you will need to use as a controller. This thing had no trouble picking up just about anything. The camera on it has a good quality picture. Travels best on hard surfaces & low pile carpet. Easy to assemble just snap on the wheels and rubber track and you are good to go.

Amazing Bot If You Have A Purpose
This is an amazing robot if you have something to do with it, otherwise it is a little useless. Its fun to battle robots like the memo vs cosmo; memo 2.0 vs mebo; mebo vs dog/cat. You can also play hide and seek with this robot, just have a couple friends over with memo or cosmo and play hide and seek with the bots. So basically if you have a purpose for this bot other than spying, this bot is for you.

Nice Product Very little Support
Nice tool/intro to robots for older children (8 up) & adults. Instructions Ok. It arrived fine but lithium ion battery was dead. Contacted company only to find out it is discontinued. I found the battery on their web site and ordered with no response and have not recieved battery simply an email that they are behind on their shipping. It was easy to use an off brand battery, minor adjustment to connectors. Recommend not ordering

Great Robot, Great Price, Fantastic Capabilities.
My son loves this guy, and for the money I think he's amazing. You can control him using your smartphone and an app over your wifi connection. He has in and outbound visuals & audio that allows you to become the robot in a sense. His tank like tracks allow greater mobility than you might see with other robots of his kind. He has a flash light, and can also grab and pick objects up under your control. There are many uses he could be good for. Of course, pretending you're the driver of a Mars Rover excavating and exploring uncharted territory is always a blast too.

Wheel Issues
Bought a new one for around $59, and the left wheels stopped working after 15 minutes. I returned it and purchased a refurbished one for $36. It's a great price, but it's left wheels also weren't working right out of the box. I was able to fix it, but it still needs constant adjustments. This is a very cool toy, but obviously fraught with issues in my experience. Also, it's pretty loud.My son likes it and for $36 it's not a bad value.

Mebo is a great first-time robot to own. It is a little pricey if you don't catch it on sale .
Mebo is a great robot to use around the house. It comes with the camera and first person view. So you see what it sees in real time. The arm is strong enough to pick up something as heavy as a Coke can or a water bottle without squeezing all the water out of it. I got a very good deal on this so I cannot complain about price.

Cons and Pros
Cons: Not a security robot: can’t use when you’re out of the house (needs your phone’s wi-fi), no charging station, have to turn on manually, no night vision.Pros: Pretty fun, good for terrorizing pets.
