I tried contacting the seller who suggested I plug in the USB cable and the stereo jacks simultaneously, which doesn't even make sense, the headset still only shows up as a stereo device through the headphone jack (not sure if the seller thought I would be too stupid to realize this). I was going to return these, but I decided the $45 isn't really worth the trouble. Bottom line, if you want a surround sound headset, or a USB headset, don't buy this one. Not the quality I was hoping for. Feels cheap and can not get good volume from them. One small step above China junk

Microphone Doesn't Work (Look Else Where)
Pros: These headphones are very comfortable and don't bother during long gaming sessions. They also look really high tech. Present day today 12/07/2019 headphones still work on both ears. Cons: Microphone has never worked. These headphones don't allow for higher sound options; while they sound crisp, they also sound really low. I'm constantly placing my volume at max. I don't recommend these and wish I had done more research. I'm stuck downloading voice chat applications on my mobile phone (example teamspeak 3) and using my mobile Bluetooth headphone microphone to communicate with other players.

Headphones are garbage
These headphones are garbage. Did not work right out of the box. Lots of static and constantly cut out if moved. The same issue(s) I have with all of these $30-40 "7.1" surround headphones. Don't waste your time or money.
