Great book, useful for teaching/learning theory
Great book, but if you really want to learn theory, I recommend the workbook too. It’s a ton of extra work, but it’s such good practice to cement the foundations. If you’re not using this for a course and you get the workbook, you’d need the solutions too.

Great text, poor paper quality
Great book. The only alternative would be the one by Piston. This one is more student oriented with many exercises.Putting 4 stars only because of poor paper quality - it is glossy and all that, but extremely thin. To my opinion paper got a little bit better compared to the previous edition, but still not as good as it should be for the book with this price tag.

Great Book!
I needed this book before my classes started and it came in with plenty of time ! I'm very pleased with the whole book and I would strongly recommend this seller and book. I wasn't sure at first if the book was the hardcover vs. that of the paperback version, but once I contacted the seller they answered quickly and assured me that the book was the hard copy. With all that being said, I am super happy with the overall price, the great condition of the book, and quick service of the book and the seller.

The quality of the paper is very poor. You are only able to listen to the audio examples if you have bought the book through the Mheducation.com website and if you are part of an educational institution. This last fact is very irritating considering also that the price of the book is very high. Without considering these points the book of harmony itself is not bad
