Products seems legit, even though the True Tone doesn’t work. Touch functions sensitive, color looks normal, but i don’t have another iPhone xr for comparison. If this product holds up I’ll definitely buy another. It’s only a matter of time till I drop this one again..

Any time phone isn’t indoors the screen turns white and is no longer response. I kept having to remove the screen and then put it back on just to get it to turn off. Would appear to be working again after restart but this never lasted long. Ended up switching out to (and am still using) everything pre-replacement and everything works fine. Luckily I kept it all. Definitely a product issue.Would give 0 stars if I could.

This comes with everything needed for a total screen replacement. Tools, adhesive, screen protector and a nifty little flash reader and writer. The flash device plugs into your old screen, reads the numbers and info out of it, then re-flashes (applies) those numbers to the replacement screen allowing it to work with TrueTone and other features that are tied to the phones internal serial number. Without this, I would imagine the phone would not function properly after replacing the screen. For under $20 USD, its a heck of a deal. Its the best screen replacement I have seen in years; for the price. I used a hair dryer to loosen the screen adhesive, took about 5 minutes to soften it enough so the included suction cup could pull up a corner and the other tools were able to pry out the defective screen. Be careful when removing the light sensor from the old screen as this part is re-used. There is a small metal retainer clip that must be pulled to remove the top sensor array and earpiece assembly. Take extra care on this step. Don't forget to attach the included adhesive BEFORE you reconnect all the cables. If you forget this step, cut a slit in the right side and the middle out of the adhesive sheet to apply (this is the mistake I made). I didn't bother disconnecting the battery, only making sure the phone was off.

It was packaged nicely screen was great and tools too I gave this a 4 because of the True Tone it doesn't work at all, but none the less the screen is working great

Easy to install per directions on youtube. Also, using that trutone device was very easy to transfer from my original iphone xs screen and the instruction booklet for that is included, very easy to use. The screen looked good, couldn't tell from OLED, perhaps if one was side by side but not noticeable to me.After 6 months, screen got glitchy when touch the bottom right corner the backlight LDC would go out. Also, the plastic frame was separating from the screen physically, as if the glue hold that together was not strong enough. The backlight eventually went completely out. It's cheap, saw everyday use for 6 months and that's all it lasted. Your miles may vary but that was my experience. Also it makes your iphone a little thicker with this screen.

I ordered this to replace the screen on my phone, the first screen didn’t work, but the second screen they sent worked fine! It does bug out sometimes, but most aftermarket screens do. Works great so far!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this screen to replace it for two reasons; the first one is to replace my broken screen, and the second one is because it has the true tone, allowing me to use that feature I like once I install it. However, when I got the package, I followed the exact instructions on how to install it and how to use the true tone tool. When I tried to use the true tone tool, the was an issue, and it didn't work. I tried to contact the seller, and others were helpful, but their response was not fast; they sent me another tool, and when I got the tool, I tried to use it, and it had the same issue. I would recommend saving your bucks and paying another one from another seller. I have attached a video that shows you the problem. Also, when I tried to speak with Amazon customer support about the situation, they were not helpful, and they asked me to contact the seller. HoweI have ver, the same customer care support from Amazon told me they would follow up with me after two days, and I gave that person the time, which never happened. I do not want to take the bread out of his mouth, but I am returning it with no question, and please do not take a minute to think about buying it.

The screen looks great and the true tone device works wonderfully but you have to follow the instructions carefully to get the true tone to work and you must use a high quality apple cable

The media could not be loaded.  Aparantly I'm getting a new true tone tool because the last one was broken... hopefully it works!Update: I got the new "True Tone Tool". Long story short, it works no better than the last one. (which it didn't) If this listing caught your eye becuase of the "True Tone Tool", Don't waste your money or time, don't order.

I've replaced screens on many iPhone models and try to transfer over original parts where possible but some come up with annoying Apple nag messages saying that 3rd party replacement screens don't support True tone or Face id for example.It's not the fact that they don't work that bothers me it's the constant nagging and my customers thinking I've done something wrong (which nevers happens!!).Anyway I thought I'd try doing an XR with this screen and tool combo and was impressed. It's about £5 more than I'd pay for the screen alone so a very good price. The tool is simple to use, it comes with a tiny micro USB cable which I didn't use as I had a proper micro USB charger with a decent length of cable. Plugged that in, clicked on the cable connector from the original XR screen, pressed Read, waited for the lights to stop as directed, unclipped the cable, connected new screen cable and pressed Write on the tool. Flickering lights, then stops with W light showing up brightly.This all has to be done while the tool is powered up so make sure to attach and detach the screen cables with a plastic spudger or guitar pick (Not a Metal Screwdriver!!).Completed fitting the new screen to the main board of the iPhone and tested. All worked great no nags and True Tone and Face id fine.It's a great package as you can pay more for a programmer on its own, the only slight downside is that this only works for the XR but I'll certainly consider getting a more universal iPhone programmer tool based on this.Very pleased as is my customer.
