Had someone in our apartment complex stealing my gas, have had no issues since replacing my gas cap with this! It can be a little annoying to unlock, but otherwise I've had no problem! And that could very well just be my clumsiness with locks at work!

I installed one of these on a 2011 Honda Fit and there weren’t any issues. Evap light wasn’t on or anything, the silicone cap holder for the original cap won’t work for this though, but I expected as much since the original and this don’t have the same outer diameter.

Vendor indicated this gas cap would fit a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500. Gas cap description is NOT accurate. IT DOES NOT FIT! Buyer beware and double check that this gas cap fits your vehicle before purchasing.

This review will be a bit different. I have 5 sons my 5 adult sons like to pick on me. My oldest being the ring leader of the pick on mom fan club. We go to breakfast with our oldest and his beautiful family every Sunday. He enjoys messing with me or my car. One day he took my gas cap jumped in his car and drove away. We followed and it turned into a game of cat and mouse. I lost him and gave up. When I returned home I spotted my gas cap in the rain gutter just above the driveway. These boys are just so ornery I don't know who raised them. I blame their father. The gas cap turned into a weekly thing so I started taking it off and locking it in the car on Sundays when I could remember. Of course I forget some times, but my grand kids who love the new game never did. I told my son I was getting a locking gas cap. Now he is a mechanic and said it wouldn't stop him. So I purchased this one. Unfortunately every time I went to get gas in the winter I would curse him because I would forget to grab the key. It is a good gas cap it will keep your son from stealing it causing you to chase him, but it will also drive you mad if you forget you have a locking gas cap when you go to get fuel in the dead of winter. It has made for some fun memories so while it's inexpensive and will protect your fuel it could be priceless to you too.

The item itself is fine. However this gas cap does not fit onto my vehicle gasoline entrance. I was told on the website that it would fit. It does not. Wrong cap lock. Sorry.
