Great deal
my husband loves making wine so this works great for him, and beers too. Great deal and great quality.

This yeast will poop out lots of alcohol! Never disappointed!
Mix this with 16 pounds of sugar and other secret adds, and a week later I have 15% beer to run through my reflux still. Works great every time. Never disappointed. Maybe a buck more than the store.

Great for a fast fermentation
This worked as described. Has full fermentation in 48 hrs. Let it go another day but not sure if it mattered.

Good for moonshine not for beer
I use this to make beer because my original yeast was dead. This yeast was very active, but there are so many other ingredients that I would never recommend it for baking beer. It’s probably fine if you’re going to distill your alcohol afterwards, but the beer had a bit of a nasty aftertaste. So I can’t knock the product. Just don’t use it for beer.

It works
Seems to work like it said it would. I haven't tasted it yet but when I checked on the fermentation the activity was almost like boiling water.

Yeast was dead
I am an experienced home brewer. I have bought turbo yeast from several sellers. I bought this for the price and other positive reviews…It was dead. I double checked the temperature by using a glass thermometer and a laser thermometer to determine that the wash was within the acceptable range for this yeast as printed on the package. I kept the wash when mixed with the yeast within the temperature range as suggested and as I know from experience. Nothing happened. Normally, with turbo yeast, action begins very quickly and you should be prepared to seal the vessel and watch the carboy begin to bubble like the dickens. My carboy never bubbled once. At 48 hours I measured with my ABV hydrometer for mash… results were no/% alcohol. I can smell a whiff of alcohol, but I am nowhere near an amount to justify a run through the still. I will not pay for another pack of this product. I know that brewers yeast is subject to being finicky ,and this may be the case here. But, I paid for live, viable yeast. Now, I have wasted a gallon of cane syrup and pounds of raw sugar. Probably $50+ of ingredients on a faulty and worthless batch of yeast. Such is the life of a home brewer. I’m going back to my main guy in Haines Alaska. I’ll pay his price, which is less than the price of a ruined batch of sugar and molasses… good luck and cheers to all.

Fast acting and seems to be working very well! My airlock is going crazy still and I'm now 3 days in on this batch.

I used this yeast to make bread. It works well and the bread is always fluffy. Trouble is, if I eat more than half a loaf I get completely drunk.

Produced high ABV wine with low fusels and aldehydes and no hangover. Nitrogen and nutrition is included. I recommend brewing in tea, then adding sugar in steps every 12 hours to reduce stress on the yeast. The bag includes ample excess for many batches. If you want a higher quality ferment then ensure the temperature is 18-21°C after day 3 to prevent unwanted toxins. A cold brew produced a cleaner finish with this than my EC-1118 Prise de Mouse yeast but the ABV was higher.
