As they don't come in half sizes and am 6 1/2 in boots will i be ok if i order size 6? never owned dr. martens before so i have no clue. thks.

Yeah, I would go with size 6. I’m normally a size 9.5, and I got a size 9 - they’re perfect.

Are the size showing in the selection a USA or UK size ? Are this women or mens sizes?

US not UK. Since these are their Leona boots they are made hot women so the sizes are ladies

I have extremely wide feet . Should I get a larger size? My regular size is a 8.5.

I am 8.5 extra wide with wide calves, and the 9s are perfect for me. I sometimes have to stretch the top part where foot turns at the angle, but after 2-3 wears I have no issues. What little breaking in is needed is worth it. They are so comfy!
