I have been buying this Sumatra Coffee for years now. It is a great coffee for a great price. Always fresh, always delicious. Hands down. I lived in Seattle for almost 20 years and love coffee but I am not a coffee connoiesseur or coffee snob. This is a medium roast with lots of wonderful flavor and is always fresh. We live in Hawaii now (Big Island) surrounded by Kona Coffee and after taste tests, etc. I still buy this Sumatra.

I like a strong roast that is not bitter and dark, and this one is perfect. If you like breakfast blend but are always left wishing for a slightly stronger version, this coffee is for you. It's strong and has an awesome, smooth finish without the bitter or high acid flavors of a dark roast. It's just GOOD. VERY good iced as well! Buy the bag, fill up a jar with some for daily use and freeze the rest in a ziploc... it stores for a long time in the freezer and keeps it fresh and tasty!

Excellent packaging to keep it fresh as possible. A dry bean approaching the taste of an oily bean. Works great in a Jura.

This is my favorite coffee by far. The beans are freshly roasted and are packaged extremely well in a sealed package. I use what I need for a week, then freeze the package. I highly recommend this coffee.

This was an experiment to see if I could get great coffee for less than coffee shop prices. Locally GREAT coffee is about $16. This is a good coffee,,,, however I can get an equal quality product at CostCo for .6% of this product. Try it. You might like it. It was good but there is equal available for less $$$

In the past, I bought 5-pound bags of this coffee and it had a wonderful taste and aroma, but this time I bought a 2-pound bag, and this bag had no aroma or taste and was very bland.

I am writing this as my initial experience with this coffee. We were purchasing in bulk from another on-line coffee bean vendor and decided to try this since it was cheaper. After brewing our first cup, it was very good coffee. It was fresh and full of flavor with a perfect roast. I am not sure how long the freshness will last but we have put in a sealed container to see if we can get through the 5 pounds with the same freshness. We normally consume about 5 pounds every two months. I can say that we will definitely re-order again.

I have ordered this product at least on 3 occasions and I found the coffee to be consistent in quality and taste. The whole beans are in fact whole and not bitter to the demanding coffee affection-ado. Sumatra has always been a favorite region for quality coffee for me. I live in Kailu-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii so my fondness for this coffee should really tell you something.
