This was a good buy lot of fun

This is a pretty cool gift. My 13year old son loves it. It takes a bit to get used to control, as the head is what drives it. Only thing i don't like is when carrying, the head falls off all the time because it's only held on by a magnet. It also doesnt have an off switch. You have to hold him upside down ,make sure you hold head on, for like 5 seconds and it shuts off.

Its good, it rolls as well as you'd expect it and it's cute it make noises and reacts to your voice! Literally perfect for a budget bb8

My 7 year old loves this!!! The head does fall off sometimes but it doesn’t bother me, it’s simple to set it back on and it doesn’t happen a lot. Super cute toy and great remote control for younger kids. My son kisse his BB8 goodnight and tucks him in beside his bed at night.

This did not work at all for us; would move a bit slowly (and inconsistently) when we first turned it on, then after about 5 minutes, the movements got really jittery and jumpy (BB8 would just jut forward sporadically)... finally, it just stopped responding at all after about 7 minutes. We followed the instructions to the T, but could not get it going. Tried again the next day- would just turn on and not move. Gave it a third day with the same results. Finally just returned it and got the Sphero one instead, which works far better.

This is a sturdy little guy, easy to learn to control, nice size and weight, makes BB 8 sounds but not loud and obnoxious. My grandson is 12 and he absolutely loves it. We had BB 8 on bare floors and low pile carpet and he worked very well. The detail is great, colors bright and solid. Very happy with this.

BB8 works very well, easy for kids to operate and it answers them back I robot jargen when the talk to him, batteries last a long time, it's a bit slow on carpet but on a hard surface it's fast... and funny when he looses his head

Son loves it, but it's hard for him to reliably control. It's got a small selection of noises that get repetitive quickly. Does not roll well on thick carpet. Tends to over-roll on hard floor.

Muy bonitos detalles. Toma un poco de tiempo el poder controlarlo para que sus movimientos no sean muy violentos pero es parte de la diversión. A mi hija, súper fan de Star Wars, encantó.

BB8 was bought as a birthday present for my 5 year old. We are supervising him heavily with it so he doesn’t drop the controller or the droid as it does not appear to be built for rough treatment seen with most boys his age. It’s not made by VTech or Leap Pad so don’t expect it to put up with careless treatment. The controller seems fairly intuitive, my son figured it out faster than his dad. My son was so excited to receive a remote controlled BB8 and has had a fun time playing with him on the lino. The unit does not work very well on carpet, the resistance is too great. 😂 Head does fall off but is easy to reattach once the unit rights itself. Even the 5 year old figured out how to “reattach” it. You really have to see the inside of the body unit to understand that. Head is held on by magnets so manoeuvring the BB8 unit needs a gentle hand to keep his head on. Bumping off furniture will result in a temporary loss of his head. All in all pleased with the purchase.

Received item in good condition.. Easy to assemble and its really fun to have this BB8 as a toy and collectible.

Very cool product. The item works well on hard floors, not quite as well on carpet. It’s a little bit hard to manoeuvre, my 8 year old is finding it a bit challenging but with practice he will do fine. For what the product is, and the price, 5 stars.
