The desk is really cute once put together and larger than I expected. However I agree with the other reviews, it was horrible to put together. I am used to assembling a lot of furniture and even with the drill, it took me almost three hours. It was really frustrating and the directions are not clear. Also the drawers are cheap fabric drawers, not wood. But for the price, and now that it is put together, I do love it.

The Desk itself: I LOVE IT. It's the perfect size for the small nook in my den. The wooden slabs with the marble finish paint are pretty good quality and it LOOKS super pretty. It also feels very sturdy so I really appreciate that.The ASSEMBLY? Chile, I am of the small population of folks who LOVES putting things together. I put everything in my home together myself with 0 help: Shelves, bookcases, chairs, tables, couches, beds, floor lamps, etc. It's so much fun and my stuff NEVER falls apart bc I am good at this. I even know when to swap out the seller-sent nails/screws/pieces for stuff in my own stash for reinforcement.THIS DESK THOUGH? Putting together is not for the weak. It probably took me the longest to put it together of all the furniture in my home.One extra person to help prob would have made things go by faster so I suggest that. I even had to take a break in between.There are A LOT of screws and darts and things. The alley wrench they give you is OK but I rec you use your own.Anyway though, 'twas worth. I am glad I decided to purchase this desk. 💕

I've assembled a lot of furniture in my life and this was one of the more labor intensive assemblies. However, I did assemble it on my own, so it might be easier with two people. If you're familiar with IKEA assembly, then the parts used for this will be familiar. I recommend having a philips head screw driver ready because the tool it comes with is not super effective.Once I got it all assembled, however, I'm really happy with how it turned out and it seems to be sturdy. Despite the assembly not being the easiest, I'm still giving it 5 stars as I was able to do it in a few hours by myself and the desk itself was worth the time and money!

Shipping takes a while, and the package is EXTREMELY HEAVY. Assembling this takes at least 3 hours, it took me 4 because I started with the TINY screw driver that came with the desk. YOU NEED A SCREW DRIVER. I had to go out and buy one just for this desk. Assembling it isn't hard but it takes a very long time. I bought this desk specifically for the monitor shelf, but THE OMEN MONITORS DON'T FIT ON THE SHELF!!!! The Omen monitor has a square base but one point is in the front, so it doesn't fit on this monitor shelf. The monitor shelf is 18cm if anyone was wondering. The desk has some scratch looking things but since I don't feel anything on the surface of the wood, I'm guessing the wood just looked like that to begin with. The table isn't that sturdy, but is good enough to use. Whenever I type the table kind of shakes, but I could live with this. The LED isn't as shown in the pictures. The lights are red, green, blue, and the mix of those colors. I didn't like the LED so I just took it out. Other than everything I just wrote, the color/design of the desk is very nice, and tbh I was kind of relieved that the drawers weren't made of wood because THE ASSEMBLY WAS TIRING. Overall I would have been happier if the monitor shelf was a bit wider...but the desk is pretty so I like it.

I was looking for days trying to find a desk that were the colors and style I wanted. I finally found this one that met my needs, and I'm glad I chose this one. I've had the desk a couple weeks now.It arrived in good condition with nothing damaged and no parts missing. The double sided allen wrench/screw driver was a bit small (for the screw driver side), so I ended up using my own screw driver, but that was the only issue. I put the desk together myself with no problems, and it took me maybe 2 hours or so. The directions were easy to understand and nothing was confusing.The desk is very sturdy once you tighten everything properly, and everything fits together as it should. I saw other people's comments about scratches on the top. There are no scratches on mine, but I do see what could be perceived as scratches. They're just part of the manufactured wood. It's a small flaw in design, but they're not scratches. It doesn't bother me and my keyboard hides it anyway.Yes, the drawers are a cloth covered particle board style (foldable too), but there is bar support underneath the desk so they won't fall out, and there are also screws you put in towards the back to keep the drawers from coming all the way out. You can easily take those screws out too if you need to.Overall, I love this desk, especially for the price. I love the riser for my monitors and it fits everything perfectly and doesn't look cluttered. Please don't take the negative reviews to heart. It really is a great desk =)

My boss, who generously put this together for me, was impressed with the engineering. All parts intact with even extras. The only criticism he had was the assembly tool was too small for his large hands. We just used a Phillip's screwdriver instead. All in all, very, very pleased! And came 3 days early! Thanks so much!!

Birthday gift for our granddaughter. Fairly easy to put together. She really likes the lights. Reasonable quality for price.

My son loves this desk. It was easy for him to put together. He’s into the LED lights that change color so that was a added bonus for him. It’s sturdy an looks just like the photo. I’d buy it again if I needed to.
