3 pin POWER CORD Extra HEAVY Duty 12 Ga for CB / Ham radios - Workman CB3AXX

Excellent product, some say Workman makes cheap stuff. This is a good quality product with good 100% copper wire construction and not that CCA wire garbage. If you operate a dual final and or 10 meter type radio, even the outlaw guys running 10 meter radios on 11 meters, then you need a good heavy duty power cable that will tote the load and stay happy doing it. Fcc has legalized fm mode on cb band. FM is a 100% duty cycle mode and it gets out and does the job. Public service has been running fm mode for over 65 years. If it didn't work they would not be using it. FM typicall makes a radio operate at full max power output and those radios have massive heatsink to dissipate heat. 10 meter radios don't have that sort of heatsink, so they operate hot on fm mode. They also draw heavy current in doing so. This product ensures power to your rig with as low as possible voltage drop (loss) and maintains full operating voltage to the radio. Im a licensed amateur radio operator for decades, and there is lots of junk out there nowadays, but this is not junk. Not sure as to endurance in daily sun exposure, very few power cables have UV resistant built in. If you are running a legit non-modified 4 watt cb then this product is a little bit overkill for that specific purpose as awg 16 guage wire will serve you well. I have a President Richard that I installed a ccts tone card in for 10 meter FM repeaters and use my HF rig on the receive side as it doesn't support split (duplex operation) and no tone capabilities. The president would get a bit warm after just minutes of operation. I added this power cable and a small fan for the heatsink and it does much better. It looks like it will be a nice , power lead but I don't know if the wire is actually a 12 gauge looks like a 13 gauge but it probably is 12 gauge wire I'm sure it's not a misplant I give it four stars so I can see how long it'll last that's all but it is a five-star product nice cord you can disassemble it and reassemble it if something ever happened thank you whom it may concern

I have a Anytone 5555 N II also known as the Radioddity QT-60 ..this was as good quality as the one that came with the unit

I recommend this power cable for anyone with a 30+ watt radio. Most stock 3pin radio power cords are only 16AWG. This power cord has 12AWG wire (lower the number thicker the wire), it will help reduce voltage drop.

This is what they say it is. Only complaint is that when they soldiered the negative wire that not all the wires were together and made a wide flat wire to try to plug into my power supply. I have a soldier gun so it wasn't that big of a deal for me but there's others that don't have a soldier gun and might have to clip an edge off or clip it down to fit witch makes it pointless of buying a heavier gauge wire if your just going to clip it down to the wire size you had to begin with. Other then that it plugged right into my Galaxy dx959b radio and works great. I'm completely happy with it.
