The are comfortable, precise and sharp.
I am very happy with these clippers. I bought these to clip my guinea pig's nails, and also for daughter's bunny's nails This is a horrible job, and neither my piggy nor I enjoy it. The pair that I had gotten from the pet store was not sharp enough. I would say that they have dulled some with use, but after using these, I realize that none of the clippers that I have purchased from the pet store are really very sharp to begin with. Beyond that, it has always bothered me that the pet store clippers are so small - both in my hand (it is difficult to hold them well; my finger and thumb get stuck, and I don't have large digits to begin with) and that the blade area is so short. They are kind of clumsy. These clippers are slightly larger, and longer, which is great. They are more comfortable to hold, not only because I didn't have to wrestle them on, and then pry them off, but also because they are designed more like mini scissor handles. Since they are also a little longer, I can see what I am doing better. My piggy has a tendency to get his face right in my line of site (he thinks he will outsmart me, I'm sure). Anyone with a guinea pig knows that they don't have necks to speak of, but what they lack in neck, they make up for with the size of their noses! Not complaining, I think their noses are part of their charm, and Gus has a beauty of a nose. But, that nose can be hard to see past, and he knows it. So, he initially went into his typical "Oh! My! God! Noooo! Not the dreaded nail clipping - I know I'm going to just die! (Even though I also know that I'll be much happier and more comfortable once that thing with the opposable thumbs (who really should be using them to get me more food instead of giving me a mani pedi) finishes - IF I survive this ordeal)" mode. Well, it wasn't worth his typical theatrics. And, when it went so quickly and smoothly, I think he was slighty embarrassed that he had wasted all that effort using his dramatic skills for something other than trying to look like he NEEDS to be fed. Again. He even sat quietly through the twice over and looked a little confused. So, yes - I like the clippers. They are comfortable, sharp and precise, and Gus got through it all alive. And, yes - he got more food too. Because goodness knows, he might just starve to death otherwise. After all, piggies ARE happiest when they're eating. Haven't attempted this with the bunny yet. It'll be Sophie's first clipping, and her nails are like little daggers right now. Hopefully, she's a little less dramatic, and doesn't understand Gus' "Oh, woe is me" attitude. I recommend these to anyone who dares trim their piggy's nails instead of paying the vet $5 for the front feet and $4 for the back ($1 a digit). It isn't the money that keeps me from the vet, it's Gus' dramatic theatrics getting him in, out, back in and out of the carrier, and his "Oh! My! God! Nooooo! Not a dreaded car ride - I know I'm going to just die (and why isn't that thing with the thumbs getting me a carrot any way?)" drama. My pig is a little dramatic. But, he's got a great nose!

Work great! 3 inch pair. Great for cats
Work great! 3 inch pair. Great for cats and small dogs. Even birds. I lost an old pair of clippers. Had a hard time finding a real tiny pair. Finally when I did the picture and the size made no sense. They had large medium and tiny ones. The medium showing this pair and the tiny ones a much larger one. I couldn't find these tiny ones anywhere else. I finally ordered Them going by the pictures and sent a note to the seller as to my needs and their error.

Best clippers I've used
I worked for a vet and have done my cats nails for years with a nice pair of guillotine style clippers that "disappeared" after forgetting to take them out of my cat's bag when I had to board him. I bought an expensive pair with a duller blade and slippery handles which were awful . Even with the good clippers I'd have to do only the back or front at one session, because he didn't like them done. With this pair he doesn't even realize what's happening and when he figures it out there is little to no stress. They are quick and sharp, you can open them wide and he doesn't feel anything until I am cutting the tip off the end. Even the dews are easy to do. These are GREAT. Highly reccommend.

Nice, well-made clippers
Nice, well-made clippers. Now if they just came with hints about how to get the cat to stay still, they'd be perfect!

Quiet, sleek, easy to snip!
Much better than most clippers we’ve purchased. We appreciate the open, curved ends which helps us clip quickly and be done with it. Both cars cannot stand nail trimmings so we needed a took that was quiet, small, and one we could get in and out with. This does the trick.

I Won't Use This Product for My Cats!!!!
This product is not one I would trust for my precious kitties. The language is terrible. I am not kidding- this is actually printed on the package. An example: "Check and cut nails every two weeks. Don't cut your pet hurted when its feet struggle Please note the difference in front and back paws." On the warnings: #2 "Please put in pet, young children cannot take place" then #4 "After use please send the product on the hair clean, if the water after washing should be kept dry". . This is the actual language. I'm returning it. My cats are so important I won't take a change on hurting them using this product. If the instructions are this bad, how can it be safe to use on my cats?

Great Veterinary Patients!
I've been in the veterinary field for ~20yrs, so we've tried multiple nail trimmers for various species and sizes. I purchased these as replacements of the exact same pairs we bought before. They work great for cats, small dogs, rabbits, ferrets...pretty much any pocket pet or small exotic pet. They are comfortable in your hand, you can easily see where you are cutting to avoid quicking the nails, and they've gone through countless patients over the past 10yrs or so.

Love it!
My cat never let us to hold her hands so it’s too difficult for me to make this kind of process, but with this nail clip I cut all her nails too fast!! Like in 2-3 minutes, because they are too easy and comfortable to use, thanks!
