Mount Red Dot Mounting Platform Glok Plate Base Mount Compatible -

I wasn’t expecting much for this price point but I have been extremely impressed and surprised with the performance of this red dot adapter plate! This adapter plate has handled the shock/recoil of my old Ruger P89 pistol and has not moved or caused the red dot to loose zero after over 100 rounds fired. I wasn’t expecting much at all as I was dovetailing a universal red dot plate to a dovetail adapter insert with a value priced red dot sight but have to say I’m very satisfied with the performance of everything! Also very happy I was able to get a red dot mounted on my old 2005 pistol without spending an excessive amount of money! The plate did require some modification to the way the support pins mount but that’s because of the adapter application being used but I will say there was enough hardware provided to get everything set up without having to buy additional hardware!

Allowed my to add an optic without spending a fortune. Holds a zero, works with all optic footprints.

While all Glock sights that are manufactured properly, fit very tight in the beaver tail.... this one will NOT fit! I am not going to pound something into my Glock 23 slide with a 3lb hammer. This would make it approx 1/3 of the way into the beaver tail, and no more. I already had to put more pressure on it driving it, than I should have. Also, be aware that people are getting used items that have been scratched and bent. This is why. People are returning them because they couldnt drive them in, even with excess pressure. Tired of receiving times that are NOT as advertised. I will be returning it

Solid construction. Dots glow brightly. Watch the interior space as it fits a longer optic.

I needed a Red Dot adapter plate to fit into my Glock Pistol rear dovetail slot. After three failed tries, I found this universal mount. I really didn’t need to co-witness sights, but it’ll do. This one was the first of three that actually fit my Red Dot sight. The problem is, the manufacturer did not provide set screws to go through the holes in the dovetail to secure the adapter plate to the pistol. They provided pan head screws but the plate did not have counter sink holes so the screws would be above the surface! See the photo. I had to purchase M3 set screws so the Red Dot would sit flush on the adapter plate. Another irritant was the Allen wrench provided was too small!!! I have plenty so I was able to find and use one of my Allen wrenches and finish the installation. Details matter!!! This manufacturer missed a few.
