Long story, but I was airbnb hopping for about a year and got sick of the varying quality of knives available. So I bought a knife I could use to ensure something would cut. I have lots of very nice knives at home, so didn't need something to replace them, but instead of getting a cheapo chef's knife, this popped up in my recommended, looked cool as heck, and I bought it. And it worked whilst continuing to look cool as heck.Now I'm back home, this knife is now my camping preparing dinner knife, and I think it is perfect for that since it comes with a sheath, is comfortable to hold, and is an appropriate size to do about 99% of cutting I need to do when cooking while camping.It is a little thick to replace my other knives for cutting onions and whatnot at home. It can still do this, but it is just a little thick. It takes an edge well and the steel is hard enough to keep that edge with appropriate honing. I imagine it will rust since I think it is carbon steel and not stainless steel (don't quote me on that, just going from memory here), but just clean your knife after use (as in, wash AND dry) and don't throw it in a dishwater (also, don't do that for any knives that are ever expected to cut anything harder than butter regardless of what steel they're made from... also, why do people do this?!? Every time a person throws a knife in the dishwasher a chef loses his/her wings. Don't believe me? Ever seen a chef with wings? No?? It's because of how often people throw knives in dishwashers!!!) and you're good to go. :)In conclusion: This knife has a niche but is good in that niche whilst looking cool as heck.

Sharp and bo

I got this for work, and expected it to be really low quality, but it has held up fantastically! It holds it's edge pretty well, is easy to sharpen, and it looks awesome. It's pretty heavy, but not too bad. It's not the most versatile knife due to its large size, but as a cleaver it is outstanding. I highly recommend this companies knives, as both of the ones I ordered from them are fantastic.

It cuts so beautifully, I don't want to use any other knife. Meat, vegetables, whatever, it's like a torch thru melted butter. So wonderful! Highly recommended for anyone who does a lot of cooking from scratch like me!

Honest review. I was hesitant to buy one of these knives. I read some of the reviews and some said they were very heavy. They were right. This knife does have some weight to it, but when I say this blade glides through meat like a hot knife through butter, that is 100 percent accurate. I have a decent Farberware knife but it absolutely pales in comparison to this knife. It may be heavy, but you’ll get used to it. I would recommend buying this knife. I might even buy another one for camping.

This is definitely handy for those who work in the kitchen and need to cut up chicken with bones, or any roasts.

Es macht richtig Spaß damit zu kochen. Man fühlt sich definitiv mächtig. Aber man sollte vorsichtig sein, das Messer ist sehr scharf! Ich persönlich erwarte das jedoch von einem Messer, daher volle Punktzahl!

Känns rejäl i handen, bra balans och tyngd. Vass! Fodralet är dock i konstskinn, alltså plast.Mycket prisvärd.
