Worked perfectly!
The rubber gasket on my military surplus (20 litre) Jerry Can was dried and cracked so I ordered this product. After carefully removing the old rubber, cleaning the metal channel with petrol and leaving it to dry, I installed the new seal in seconds, being careful to get it to fit snuggly under the flange. The can no longer leaks, even if it's upside down.

Seals are to small for my 20l jerry can snout just leaks passed the seal.
