Beautiful strong, sturdy and stays where you put it!
The media could not be loaded. I love the quality of this rod. It has a great weight to it, so you know it’s not going to bend or break the first time the kids pull on the shower curtain. Add to the mix that we were able to screw this into the wall and you have a rod that won’t continue to shift and ruin your walls plaster. I thought long and hard about putting holes into the wall, but when you think of the functionality of it, it makes sense. I definitely won’t ever NOT need a shower curtain rod in this location, so mine as well make it stay in place. I have 9 foot ceilings and the trend is to put the curtains as high as possible to get a dramatic look. As I was placing this rod up high( 96” off the floor), I wanted to make sure the curtain would move easily once it was up there. The rod has a nice plastic bushing so the hooks won’t get stuck as they move back in forth. I’ve included lots of pictures so you can see the puck that we screwed to the wall and how the rod would work. The whole rod is not screwed into the wall, only the puck. And by putting it on the edge of the shower wall, you have the added stability of a stud to screw the puck into. You will need to open the rod up to about 3” past the space needed( you do this by unscrewing the rod) btw the tension on this rod is nice and sturdy feeling, not wobbly at all.. The end of the rod has a nice lip all the way around and a hole in the center where it fits the puck perfectly. The value for money is spot on. I purchased double sided hooks(Matt Nickel from Amazon, the color matched perfectly)to make it easy to change the liner when needed for washing. The saying that you get when you pay for definitely holds true on this purchase. One of the reasons why I bought this was because it’s Rust resistance. Time will tell. It was very easy to install. The Functionality and Bendability is perfect for the task while still having a beautiful clean aesthetic look.

Super strong! Good value
This curtain rod is very sturdy. I previously had a tension rod I was using but my young kids kept pulling on it until it fell. This was my solution and it worked. It is easy to install with only a couple screws. The metal finish seems to be good quality and the curtain slides much better on this one than my old one. I use it for a small closet in my kids bedroom but I have been thinking about getting another one to use as a shower rod. Much better value than what you would pay at a big box store.

Rod does have screws that mount to the wall.
This is a good solid product. There is a removable endcap that is used with screws included to attach the endcaps to the way. Then the cover of the endcap goes over that. So you are attaching it to something that is screwed into the wall. Then the tension of the rod keeps the endcap secure. It fits flush against the wall, and will not move. There are fake screw heads on the outside of the cover, but don't let that turn you off. There really are screws to mount the endcap. Once video made it sound like there were no screws but there are. Very nice and sturdy shower curtain rod.

Golden Dreams, Rusty Reality: A Tale of Bathroom Rod Redemption (and Mid-Century Modern Aspirations)
SPECS AND STUFF- Expandable from 43" to 72" (like your waistline during the holidays)- Tension or screw-mount options (for the commitment-phobes)- Finish: Lightly brushed gold (fancy, right?)- Price: $27 (about the cost of three fancy coffee drinks or one vintage ashtray)INSTALLATION 411Want to avoid drilling holes in your wall like your spouse wants to avoid your DIY projects? Good news! The tension mount is surprisingly straightforward:1. Extend to desired length2. Give it a little extra twist (like opening a stubborn jar)3. Compress into place4. Step back and admire your handiwork5. Feel smugly superior about not needing power tools6. Text everyone you know about your "home improvement success"VINTAGE VIBES BREAKDOWN- Perfect for that Mid-Century Modern swagger- Brushed gold finish hits that sweet spot between "Austin Powers" and "Mad Men"- Industrial-chic finials (that's fancy talk for end caps) add just enough edge- Feels more "boutique hotel" than "grandma's house"- Pairs beautifully with:* Starburst mirrors (because regular mirrors are so 2023)* Geometric tiles (hexagons are the new squares)* Retro color schemes (avocado green, anyone?)* Your secret desire to drink martinis at lunch* That one Eames chair knockoff you swear is authenticTHE GOOD STUFF✓ Classy industrial-meets-vintage end caps (Don Draper would approve)✓ Rock-solid tension hold (hasn't fallen once in a year)✓ Dual mounting options (commitment optional, just like your dating life)✓ Looks expensive (but isn't - we won't tell if you don't)✓ Perfect for that "Mad Men" bathroom vibe (smoking not recommended)THE NOT-SO-SHINY BITS- The finish is playing hide and seek with our curtain hooks- Discovered our hooks are secretly sandpaper in disguise- Could use some roller balls for smoother operation- Costs about $10 more than basic options (but so does that "authentic" Danish modern lamp)MOISTURE MISSIONInstalled in a poorly ventilated bathroom (hello, steamy mirrors!), this rod has held up relatively well. Though like most of us after a year of humid bathroom conditions, it's showing some wear and tear. Think of it as developing character, like fine wine or your favorite jeans.MAINTENANCE MANIFESTOPrevention Tips:✓ Invest in hooks with roller balls (your finish's new best friend)✓ Open the bathroom window (or door) post-shower- Yes, even in winter- No, your towel won't freeze- Yes, your cat will judge you✓ Regular wipe-downs (like your gym equipment, but you'll actually do this)Damage Control:- If finish wearing appears:* Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth* Consider switching to gliding hooks* Resist urge to cover with gold Sharpie (we see you thinking about it)- For stubborn spots:* Mild soap solution only* No harsh cleaners (this isn't your college bathroom)* Pat dry like it's precious (or your vintage record collection)- Humidity management:* Consider a small fan* Or teach your family the art of the "navy shower"* Bathroom plants help (bonus: they're period-appropriate!)* Pretend you're running a spa (without the cucumber water)VALUE VERDICTAt $27, it's like upgrading from store-brand to name-brand cereal - you're paying a bit more, but getting noticeable improvements in style and functionality. Plus, no holes in the wall means full deposit refund for renters! Or as we like to call it, your "vintage furniture fund."

Must get tension rod
Strong shower rod with great tension, I got this rod to make sure in case i needed to drill it into the wall but the tension does more than enough without slipping. But just in case if I need to in the future I can screw it in. The color is good too. This is at around 36inches

Perfect fit and sturdy
We recently completely remodeled our spare bathroom. I have a farmhouse/industrial design throughout. I purchased a tp holder and towel holders in the black pipe style so wanted a shower curtain rod to match. Originally I purchased a curved shower curtain holder, but I didn’t like how the curtain hung in the space. The way the curtain fell, it would touch you if you were sitting on the stool. I was so happy to see this as an option. It was super easy to install. I didn’t mount it with the screws that came with it, just the tension and it is super sturdy. This is just what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase.
