Best dried beef
The genuine article! I've been eating this for as long as I remember. It's a must have for creamed chipped beef (SOS). It is salty, so if you soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes before using, it's generally more palatable.

Memories of the breakfast your mom made
Pro: Chipped beef breakfast! 14 grandchildren and no complaints - most trying it for the first time. Excellent value, tasted as expected, and one jar makes a lot of chipped beef for biscuits. We used 3 jars for our large crowd. Perfect size, taste and texture for the wife and I, having a little extra leftover - sorta (it’s yummy). Con: None. Grandkids have asked for it by name now many many times.

Chipped beef a.k.a. SOS ...it's what you need.
My pops used to be in the navy and as a kid, I remember him having C rations at home that we would sometimes be allowed to eat. They were always a little weird, but so fun to have as a kid. One of my favorites would be the chipped beef in a pouch. A few months ago I started getting nostalgic for that chipped beef a.k.a. SOS and decided to look into actually making it. I found a well rated recipe online and looked for suggestions on which ingredients were best to use. The Armour Dried Beef came up as a crowd favorite so I went for it. This container is about twice the size of the container you would find at Walmart for the same price. I would say that if you are looking for dried beef, this is probably the one to get for best value for your dollars. The recipe I used only called for half of the jar and I was able to make 6 servings with it. Those servings were on big bread with a generous layer of chipped beef. I still have half the jar left and plan on making the recipe again in the near future. I will use the rest of my jar and likely buy more to keep around. I will say that This beef probably isn't as salty as other brands, because I didn't have any complaints about it being oversalty.
