Incredible product, however I think the result depends on the sanding prior to application. I started with 360 grain, then 800, 1200, and 2000 by hand, and finished with 3000 grain using a drill, always spraying water and removing the dust. It took a lot of time and patience, but the result is amazing. I saved about $700 on headlight replacement in my country.

Product is good value for money the quality and when I used it I got fairly good results.

Worked fantastic. My 27 year old lights look great. Be careful not to tilt to far and spill the solution i did and it did leave a run spot i would probably have to sand out but im not gonna stress at the moment. Take your time sanding this is most important in the process!!

This would have received a 5* only if it had an actual ac adapter not a cig lighter plug. I was skeptical on this product just cause the headlights in general are built to yellow over time and there’s not that many options that are professional like. Example after using the 3m headlight restorer, the clear coat wasnt easy or smooth to apply. Left it spotty. This product had similar steps except for the tea kettle vapor, that was astonishing, easy to apply and left me speechless. Now I wait to see how long it lasts.

The liquid solution works fine. However, I found the vapor method to be very slow and without perfect results. The process is satisfying but spotty and time consuming. All videos you see of the vapor method are sped up. Honestly, I'd rather polish, wipe on sealant, or 2k clear. This can work great on a rainy day where the other methods won't have time to cure.

It doesn't work!

We almost purchased new headlight covers. I found a video on Youtube showing this technique after I searched, how to change headlight covers. They look new. If there are minor flaws, you'd have to look up close. To me, I don't see anything but clear headlights. They were yellow and opaque matte before sanding. I had to stop at a car supply store to get 2000k grit sandpaper as it was missing or not included in our set. We did the 600, 800, 1200, 2000. Sanded them 3x with each grit before using higher grit. Also had sprayed water on to get very wet. And kept wet during sanding. Then dried with towel before doing acetone vapor. Charged for 5 minutes, had to keep plug on as I was using it and needed a bit more charge like 2 minutes before getting on second light. If you've sealed after treatment, please post what you used and how it worked in your review. I hope this lasts. We had clear lights but relative used car for a year and had it parked on street in Chicago. Back in garage so hopefully this will help maintain the clear look.

If you are looking to just spray something on your headlights thinking it will bypass all the work, there is nothing out there that will do it. I was hoping. Starting on the passenger side, I used the sequence of hand sanding included in the kit and then misted the light. It left tons of scratches and not acceptable. The solution does not fill in scratches like I would have thought. Luckily I have an orbital polisher. I taped everything off again and used the polisher with a 6 inch wheel and various grit Velcro pads to wet sand both lights from 800-1000-1500-2000-3000 grit. I then used fiberglass/plastic polishing compound on a felt pad. After the lights were basically crystal clear with just a slight haze in areas, I used the mister and it did add some shine. Bottom line, order an orbital sander, pads and an assortment of grits from here or one of those tool stores. Get the lights near perfect and this stuff will add a finish and clear up the hazy spots. There is no way to do this properly without sucking it up and doing the polishing work. All in all I was happy with the results but disappointed in that it really doesn’t save much work.

After 6 steps sand paper given in package, i used chemical given as well, now my headlight crystal clear like new! Overall great product!

C'est magique comme produit!!! Super facile à utiliser. Par contre ne pensez pas que ça prend 5 minutes. Pour un résultat parfait, il faut préparer les surfaces qui ne doivent pas être toucher, sabler avec six papiers de grade différents et ensuite appliquer le produit.
