Hourly beep is a squeak...
Remember when hourly chime was a fairly loud beep ?? Well, these new Chinese watches use what can only be described as a tiny squeak, nothing more. I had my ear right up to this watch, and could barely hear it at all...but at least this one does something. the other two I've had wouldn't do anything at all...Otherwise, it is a good watch for telling time, day and date. I don't use the chronograph functions, so can't comment on that...the price, though, is quite reasonable...**Update**...I've had this for ten months now, and it is still going strong. Except for the hourly chime that is actually a teeny squeak, the watch is one of the better cheap watches I've bought over the years...only loses about 10 seconds a month, so keeping it accurate isn't annoying, and even with the cheap stiff rubber band that comes with it, the watch is surprisingly comfortable to wear. I still recommend it for anyone who wants a watch to kiick around with...

This watch is FANTASTIC. Pick one up right away.
Intended for gym use only, this SKMEI (this brand is more and more recognizable and products and reviews exceptional) watch, like another before it (went to my son) is an ideal layout for LED watchface. Simply day/date/time reads large and clearly, not cluttered as some military style watch faces can be.While it claims to be waterproof to 50M, have never swam with watch but do shower without a hitch. Face is uniquely readable in all light, and in the dark a backlight illuminated the numerals and characters perfectly.Watch has smooth look with flat bezel, and the same four buttons for light, mode, and seeing are there but set more deeply into watch body, not as protrusive. Time keeping is spot on. Can't go wrong with this watch and cost is a couple Caramel Macchiatos. Highly recommended from a watch nerd.

Edited:I upgraded the rating from 1 to 5. Reason is because I originally received a defective product. But the seller contacted me after seeing by review. Seller took positive actions and managed to rectify the situation.I can say it's true that every once a while we would receive purchases that are defective, but rarely does the seller take such proactive approach to his business.For being proactive and responsible. Such commendable character deserves a well earned 5 stars.The watch itself has a nice digital face for those who require clear numbers and cannot afford to much time looking at it to determine the timings, for example in flying cross-country and doing timed turns.Otherwise it's the usual. I can safely recommend this product to anyone.

Reliable
Got an inexpensive watch for work. Just need it to tell time easily. The backlight works great. My only negative mark is that when you first get the watch and program it, it may revert back to a random date and time. Once you reprogram it to the correct time it stays that way.

A good watch.
Decent in appearance and a nice fit, the face is large so it’s easily readable and it’s a soft band so it’s not uncomfortable. The light up is nice.

It’s what I needed
The screen was cracked, the watch is light and the digits are easy to read since I am active and often check time while running, hiking or working out.I the screen was lightly damaged but I need the watch so I didn’t want to returned.

A great watch to have
This is my new watch to wear to work and I love having it. The numbers are huge and very easy to read at a glance, the backlight is bright (and quite remarkable to see), and the alarm and chronometer functions are very handy to have, too. Most importantly, it's also extremely comfortable to wear.

It's very nice and brightly shown
Got this watch for my son. He really likes the large screen. It's very nice and brightly shown. I am pretty sure I will be ordering a couple more for Christmas gifts. The band is made strong which is good because he is a rough young man who is always into something. After shopping around for a few days I am glad that I came across this one.
