This product has long been a standard for post-surgical incision treatment to reduce scarring. It's a fine product, works well, pleasant odor (albeit a little strong).

Lightly scented, waxy and probably should have some sort of spoon to dip into the solid substance. Using your fingers repeatedly could spread any skin condition into the substance and contaminate it. It should not be used on or around wounds that are healing. After applying it helped aches, softens and removes dry skin which was caused because the skin was covered after surgery. My physcial therapist uses this product and goes through lots of it. Sadly, he doesn't use a dipping spoon and could possibly spread one person's skin condition to someone else. I mentioned this to him. We'll see if he is listening to the suggestion?

I have used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula for years, both the lotion and this cream. This cream has always been able to keep my legs from getting too dry and ashy in the dry winter months. I use the lotion in the summer (humid) and a combination of the two (cream and lotion) in the other seasons. Sometimes it lotion on my torso and the cream on my legs. If you are averse to using mineral oil on your skin, this may not be for you. This brands cream is one of the rare products that I purchase that has it listed in the ingredients. My skin on my legs below my knees can get so dry, it cracks. Wearing this daily on those areas prevents that. I love the scent and how it quickly melts in your hands before applying. Some may think it is too oily but it does not stay oily very long. I would not use this if I wear wearing a silk shirt but that's where the lotion would be substituted. I apply right after a shower while my skin is still moist. During 2020 with all of the hand washing and applying of hand sanitizer, my hands became much dryer. I began applying this thru out the day and my hands no longer have that sand paper feel. I really like this product, the feel, scent and it works. I buy it to keep dry skin at bay and it does that very very well.

I really love that the Palmers cocoa butter comes in this huge container! As someone with eczema, my skin gets dry often. This product of very moisturizing. If you pair it with your favorite body oil/gel, it enhances the moisture. It's smooth to apply and the scent is light. I received my product in pristine condition. This stuff really works.

Great product, I have been using it over 3 years, but was removed from the stores. Very good for dry skin people, when applying on your body, mix it with watery hand and let it dry. Best body cream, hope it will stay in the market.

I get tattoos as often as possible and its really good to keep my tattoos clean and especially when healing. It goes on the skin nicely. Lasts a long time, smells nice. good price especially for how much you get in one tub. It's a huge quantity of cocoa butter. Does not feel greasy at all.
