VANGOLD Wall Clock Large Wall Clock for Living Room Decor, Decorative Wall Clocks Battery Operated (Black Gold Wall Decor)

Having owned wall clocks for over 10 years, I was drawn to this VANGOLD Large Wall Clock for its gold-and-black color scheme. Installation was easy, and it's a definite improvement over my previous all-black clock. The included booklet with step-by-step instructions and the helpful YouTube video made everything simple. This is why I trust VANGOLD and have purchased five of their clocks. While I've replaced some attachments over time, I'm very happy with clocks that cost under $25 and last for years.

Edit 2: It has now been over 3 years since I put this clock up and it has finally gone out. The mechanism still produces a ticking sound but the hands do not move and it does not keep time. Overall I am fairly impressed with the lifespan for the price. The numbers have held up well so hopefully I can replace just the mechanism. Edit: I’ve had this clock for roughly a year and a half now and it still works great. I haven’t had to change batteries yet and the clock still keeps the time pretty well. None of the numbers have tried peeling off the wall and it still looks as good as the day I put it up. Good quality clock. It comes with everything you need to make the install go as smoothly as possible. Yes it takes a bit of time and patience to get everything lined up, but that is not a flaw on the product itself. That is to be expected on any DIY like this. I hung this clock above my desk and it looks great and keeps perfect time.

Had the advantage of a scissor lift at the plant so might be harder installing with a step ladder if high up on a wall. Will repost an update if the clock mechanism does not keep good time. Instructions are clear with pictures to follow along, but maybe some helpful tips. 1. I started by hanging the template and standing back to make sure of placement. 2. After hanging the clock mech per instructions, I taped to wall so it would not spin as I moved the template. 3. The adhesive on numbers is STRONG. I just tore off small part in case needed to reposition. It is hanging like that now, will see if they stay up or not. 4. I did not follow instructions on installing clock hands first time around, make sure they both line up with the hole on top where you hang it. 5. Finally, I just put up the 12, 3, 6 and 9 digits first to see if level and neat. Then added rest. 6. I skipped adding the "TIME" lettering provided. What else is it? Outdoor temperature LOL. This is replacing 3 small wall clocks that used to hang in a small factory. Was pain always adjusting 3 different clocks. Now just one. Would buy again. Would be happy if had wall suitable in my home for this. Looks good.

Looked at a lot of wall clocks before taking the plunge on this one. Here is the pros and cons: Pros: *The hand size was just right (so if in doubt go for the big version we did) *The mirrored numbers are really reflective and give it a real modern look *The adhesive tape on the numbers is very very strong...We put ours on a textured wall and it has been up for months. * You definitely want one of these clocks to have a template to help you place the numbers- this one was ok see below.. *Has kept perfect time (kind of table stakes, but worth mentioning) Cons: * No second hand.. would have liked to have this but don't really miss it too much.. probably over kill for such a big clock * The template tells you where the hands will end up at each hour, but you need to be really careful and use both a level and a 3 to 4ft ruler to make sure the numbers will really be square on your wall.. ie the 9 and the 3 are worst *Installation instructions are not even close to what you need to make this look perfect. * Once you stick the number to the wall it will not come off unless you take the paint with it! We had this problem when we notice the 9 was not exactly level with the 3 and had to remove... we cracked the 9 when we took it off to re align it... grrrr. *Took 2 hours to install correctly.. In general this was really worth it, and we get lots of complements about this clock. You have to like modern art, because it really feels like it. As far as installation, here are our key learning: 1. Measure to the center of your wall then place the clock on the wall. 2. Use the template to Mark the general position where the number should be 3. Then do a trial install DO NOT REMOVE THE TAPE ON THE NUMBERS - instead use some regular tape to hold them in place temporarily 4. Use a level to ensure that the numbers are really level (this can be an app on your phone, but for the 4 key numbers i would use a long masonry level if you have one... works like a charm (there are cheaper ones at home depot, but here is an example). Bon 21-111 42-Inch Smith Walnut and Maple Level with Stainless Steel Rails, Green Vials l 5. Once they are laid out correctly - we then marked them with a pencil (used them like a stencil) 6. Remove the temp tape, and then pull off the real tape and affix them to the wall.. 7. Admire your handy work! We liked this one so much we, bought another one for a wall in one of our upstairs rooms. We did not give it a 5 because of the installation instructions were a bit lacking. The second clock took about 45 min to install. .

Works as it should, great design and fully customizable. Love it.

This is my second time buying this clock, and it looks just as anything as the first one. Note that it does take longer to set up, the first time I did it I did not have the numbers line correctly so luckily I did not press them down harder to the wall so I was still able to reposition them. I also need to use a level with each number to make sure that it wasn’t askew. The only downside is the 6 & 7 both have damage. Not sure how to get help with this though so I guess I just have to suck it up. I am revising this from four stars down to one star. This clock looks absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the motor mechanism to turn the hands is not strong enough to turn these long hands. I’ve reset it three times with three new batteries and it still can’t get around all the way.

It looks really beautiful on the wall That the clock Brother shows the time is really bad quality and get stuck into each other You have to keep on setting the time And it’s very cheap quality so it bends itself has to be bent back every time so we shouldn’t get stuck talking to each other the two sticks that show the time

Didn’t expect that huge 3D clock. Very nice, looks good on the wall.
